Aero Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

Made an appointment at Aero after having tried almost every other PT place in my area. Mo Aziz was my therapist and even though on the younger side, verbally engaged me about my past and how I might have become this injured. My left knee pain had become so bad that it was waking me up at night. Mo watched me walk and encouraged me to try to not walk in such a guarded manner. He had me do hamstring and low back exercises. I was scheduled for 6 sessions but with Mo's help, I only needed 4 sessions to walk and sleep without pain. I highly recommend Aero Physical Therapy and Sport for any muscular ailments

CAUTION. Be sure to ask if your insurance is "in-network" before you schedule an appointment. When I first called they asked what insurance I have and I said UnitedHealthCare. At this point it would have been good practice for them to mention that it would be "out-of-network." Nothing was said. Also, my mistake for not confirming. At my first appointment when they took my insurance card - no mention of it. Three appointments later (Burlingame location), I am beyond disappointed to find out my visits will not be covered.

Dunstan was fantastic. I had a complex case including balance issues. Dunstan listened to my challenges and issues carefully. He treated me from a wholistic standpoint.

He quickly came up with creative ways to simulate an environment to get me trained and back to full recovery. I am very grateful for Dunstan's support and aid. He even made time to laugh and get to know one another which made our challenging sessions go by faster. I really enjoyed our time together.

Dan is extremely knowledgeable with decades of experience helping others recover from various injuries. He treated me for my torn achilles and not only treated me effectively, but also explained every step thoroughly so I knew exactly what was happening and why. The entire staff are great human beings who make you feel at home and are there to help you recover as quickly as possible. I can't recommend Dan and Aero PT highly enough. Don't hesitate if you need PT!!

Aero helps me get back on my feet. Josh Lee is awesome. Try to book your appointments early. Only just a couple of sessions, I was able to walk without much pain.

Nicole the Office Manager is amazing, and she always tried to work with my schedule. If I ever need physical therapy again, I will 100% go there. Thank you for giving me my mobility back!

I was advised by my spine surgeon to have physical therapy instead of following the suggestion of another spine surgeon to have surgery due to severe pain in my neck and left arm which I've had for almost two years . He recommended me to Aero Physical Therapy in Burlingame and after two sessions with my therapIst Josh Lee the neck pain and left arm pain subsided greatly . After 4 sessions the pain was completely gone without any pain reliever medicines . josh did a great job with my pain and thanks to Dr Sun and Josh I avoided having surgery. My advice is to always seek a second or third opinion before having surgery. Always choose the best doctor and physical therapist if you want instant results ! Thank you Dr Sun and Josh Lee for healing me fast .

I was unimpressed.

The therapist, Dan was, at times, inattentive and at each session would complain about his ipad not working. Along with him singing and the idle personal chat with others around us; it got super annoying. When I'm paying $250 per hour, I want 100% attention on me and my recovery.

I should have taken the 'Home Exercise Program' photocopy Dan gave me the first day and done those four exercises at home, without ever going back in. Each visit was very repetitive with nothing new to challenge me. All of this was done with a lack of urgency. I kept thinking the sessions would improve; they did not.

I ESPECIALLY did not like that Dan talked badly about my surgeon. It made me uncomfortable that he would bad-mouth the doctor that referred me to him. I find it extremely unprofessional.

It took for me to cancel some existing appointments for the billing clerk to call me back regarding some questions I had.

The two bright spots of this company are the front desk and the assistant that sets up the muscle therapy. Both women were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Overall, I cannot recommend this business.

I AM SO HAPPY I CHOSE AERO! I do not live nearby, but I decided to choose the PT location that I heard the best things about. I came in for knee pain - past volleyball athlete, weight lifter, and previously hospitalized for about a month which caused my legs muscles to atrophy. My knee pain was due to patellofemoral syndrome. I am in my mid-20's.

My therapist was Elise and she was amazing! Very personable, always made sure I was comfortable, always reviewed my daily activities with me, and very knowledgeable. I loved how she recognized that I was mentally and physically able to push myself more than originally thought so she always created new exercises or techniques for me to increase difficulty and to challenge me. I love that she would often check in with me to make sure nothing caused me extra pain. I have zero complaints with her therapy techniques or abilities. Also, the entire staff is very personable and very helpful. I loved everyone there and got to know them.

AERO provides: personal therapist, aides, plenty of exercise equipment, easy scheduling, quiet atmosphere (not busy so you can focus on yourself), massage, cold laser therapy (Lasertouchone), icing, electric stimulation, towels, and personal rooms for each visit. I was very comfortable every single visit and I felt remarkable improvement! It took me about 4-5 months before I felt the most noticeable amount of improvement. I went for a total of 10 weeks and I would say I obtained about 80% pain relief and functional gain back from therapy. My advice: stay positive, talk with your therapist, and work hard in and out of the office! A lot of the improvement comes from what you are willing to do at home.

My therapist Josh Lee did a good job taking out my neck and left arm pain in only two sessions . I've been having pain injections for two years and my spine surgeon suggested therapy instead of surgery. Mow I'm off pain relievers and injections thanks to Aero Physical and Josh Lee .
