Affordable Appliance Repair

Our refrigerator bottom freezer drain was clogged and leaking onto the floor. Victor at Affordable Appliance Repair came and fixed it! It was the second time we used AAR and both times the service was excellent and they saved us $$$. Kim was able to schedule us same day, which is unusual in the repair business. Both Victor and Kim are very professional, friendly and reliable. I highly recommend Affordable Appliance Repair, they are reliable, honest, affordable and they are LOCAL!

In other reviews people complained of response time. I phoned today, Kim returned my call within 15 minutes and was able to send Victor later today (same day!) between noon and 4 p.m. Outstanding service! The first time I used them, it took a day or two, but still faster than most service providers I have used in the past.

Our washing machine has been making really loud noises and I called Affordable Appliance repair. Tina was wonderful and found an appointment that same week. Matt, the fabulous technician, adjusted the belt, which reduced the noise a little bit. But realized that the larger issue is the bearing. We decided to live with the noise for now, since it would be a very difficult repair and hope we can squeeze more time out of the machine.
Matt is the greatest guy - competent and full of helpful advice.
I have already recommended them to my neighbor, whose dryer is broken.
We will be loyal customers.

On time and very well versed on Samsung refrigerators. Very quick to fix my fridge and very personable. I would definitely recommend them, as they were affordable as well.

The office staff helped schedule a technician to come and check out our fridge that would randomly stop working. Matt came out to look at the fridge but it was working at the time so it was a bit hard for him to diagnose. He was friendly and asked us several questions and effort to figure out the issue. We were charged a service fee which was reasonable and he gave us some tips so that we could narrow down the issue when it happened again and to call him back at no cost to pinpoint the issue. Several days later the problem returned, and he came back out. It turned out that it was either the computer failing or the compressor. At that point it made better sense for us to look into buying a new fridge versus repairing it. We really appreciated him explaining everything thoroughly.

We also used affordable appliance repair for our washer about half a year ago because our clothes were sopping wet after every wash cycle. The technician was on time and pinpointed the issue which was a failing computer system. We appreciated the honesty and knowing what the issue was so that we could figure out what made best sense for our household. We decided to buy a new washer, considering the cost of a computer replacement.

Overall, we are satisfied with affordable, appliance repair and plan to continue using them in the future.

I have called Affordable Appliance Repair many times over the years for various repairs on my Furnace, dryer and refrigerators. The latest being my Kitchenaid refrigerator. This is the second and completely different repair on this Kitchenaid refrigerator and I won't buy another one. But I will highly recommend Affordable Appliance in a hot New York second! Matt has come in each time and taken one look at it and said oh yeah they have a problem with that. This time we needed to order parts. Ugh. Although we had to wait, the parts came in, they made all effort to accommodate our schedule and squeeze in a change. Affordable appliance is local, responsive and have diagnosed each repair correctly. No call backs, woo hoo! They are my go to appliance repair place and I trust them to do it right!

Matthew is a master at repairs, Victor and his trainee were very versed on troubleshooting and ordering parts for my dryer repair. I could not be more satisfied with the service and repairs that were required for my dryer.

Was able to talk to someone live every call. An appt. Was scheduled for next day. Very pleasant. That was a plus. Unfortunately a part needed to be ordered and repair wasn't completed for 2 weeks. Very nice, competent service repairman did the job. Back running the dishwasher.

My experience with Affordable Appliance Repair was excellent. From the first phone call to the service tech, everyone was friendly and professional. Victor came out to troubleshoot a problem with our washer and was very knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely be calling them again the next time our appliances need repair.

Responsive, nice folks. An actual "live" person answers when you call. Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have installed two garbage disposals at our house. Followed up to be sure everything was okay. Great service from a local company.
