      My dryer stopped heating and I did try to fix it myself to no avail. Although I had to play phone tag back and forth, Rich was very nice and accommodating. He told me upfront his service fee was to diagnose my dryer. He charged a flat rate $55, and if he had to return (in case he didn't have parts), there was no additional fee. I was clear that I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I gave him my model number and manufacturer so he could bring any stock parts he might need. He had the parts with him, came promptly and fixed my dryer. His bill was a bit on the high side, but compared to the other places (Sears---where the dryer was purchased), I felt well worth it. I think I had a good experience because I was proactive in making sure he was prepared before touching my dryer!

      I thought I was the only one. I cannot believe this place stays in business. I called them to fix our washer. Not only did he not fix it, but he ordered parts we couldn't use and charged me for it. Then ordered another part that he charged me for it. He said it would take 3 weeks, then never called to update us. I have been calling him for a month now trying to get my money back. He has never called me and still owes me $350. One would think this is fraud of some sort. Whatever you do, stay away from him. We called annother place and they fixed it in 4 days. STAY AWAY!!

      DO NOT-DO NOT- DO NOT use this guy! Rich does not return phone calls, does not answer his phone once he has your "parts deposit", takes your money and will not complete the job. He just scammed me and my tenants for $125 now 25 days later is off the radar. He made 2 installation appointments and flaked on both. Let my loss be your gain.

      Showed up right after we called and quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty circuit board). We paid him for the service call and the part, and he said it would be done by Friday (original service call was Wednesday).

      Friday he didn't show up, so we called, and he said the wrong part came in. We called again next week and left messages. Finally my wife called from her cell phone (instead of our land line) and he answered, said he would be out Wednesday. He did not show up, so we called daily from multiple phones for the rest of the week, and the next with no luck. We saw the address was listed so surprised him at his house. He admitted he'd not been diligent with us, and guaranteed he'd come by tomorrow to install it, or refund our money.

      The next day he came by, installed the part. The dishwasher works (and has ever since he put the part in).
      We're glad he finally fixed it, but it took three weeks and was NOT worth the frustration.
      We don't recommend him at all.

      The guy is a complete flake. He said his work is guaranteed for a month, then doesn't answer his phone or return your messages if there's a problem during that time period. Don't subject yourself to the frustration.

      Pretty much the same experience as the others. Cashed my check more than a month ago now won't even answer calls. Trying to figure out how to get my money back!

      Updated review

      Update: he finally came by and did the repair with the part that I had paid for several weeks prior. A job that he said would take three days ended up taking three weeks, without him calling me back or letting me know what was going on at all. While I was glad that he finally did the work, I will never call him again if I need any appliances repaired. Skip this guy and try someone else, even if it costs more.

      This has been one of the worst experiences of my life!! Richard stole my mother's money and said that he would repair our washing machine....he just needed to order the part. almost a month later and after many attempts at trying to call, Richard said he would be by yesterday to install the part. He even left messages stating that he would be by between 3 and 5. After a no show I was angry and called him several times and left several messages until he finally answered. He told me that the part was in San Jose (as he told me several times). At this point I told him that I didn't believe him and to bring me either the part or the money ASAP. The next morning he brought me a portion of the money and a receipt that said he had received the wrong part, SURE!!! This guy is a crook, he will steal your money and your mom's money!! He also puts good reviews on google to make it look like he actually does good work. Do not trust him, he will cash your check immediately and steal your money!!!!
