Aguilar Pools has been a great provider of excellent service. We had never owned a pool and when I called and spoke to Ricky he was more than happy to come by when it was most convenient for us to give me a lesson on Pool maintenance 101. After he went through the service and associated fees I knew he was the pool guy for us. I had previously called 2 other pool service companies and they simply threw out prices, but never offered to come by and teach us the basics. Ricky even said I could save money by doing the cleaning myself and that he could show me how to treat the pool with chemicals so that at some point I could do it all myself. That was awesome, but I just didn't have the time and Ricky did a fabulous job. Plus it was hard work. I say, "leave it to an expert". For that reason I highly recommend Aguilar Pools. Their service, knowledge and high level of expertise is unbeatable. Thanks Aguilar Pools. I highly recommend them.

We are extremely thankful what they did for us last week to replace the pool unit even with the rain and an offer to add the pool chemicals for us free of charge. Rickie was responsive to my request for service call due to pump not priming. Diagnosed a clog on the suction line and cleared it. Got everything in working order in less than an hour.

I had a nightmare pool situation that seemed to be neverending. To save you from the long story - ultimately it boiled down to me having a pool that turned green over the winter. Once the weather began to clear up, we hired an (unnamed) company to fix our problem - which we thought was a broken pump. We were informed that the pump was fine, but that we had a damaged filtering basket in the pump - quick fix!

From there we spent over two weeks treating our pool to get rid of the algae. We were able to get the pool back blue from green. However, once it turned blue we just couldn't get it clear. It was very cloudy. We worked with Leslie's to test our water and get treatment recommendations but nothing seemed to work. Finally, we decided that it was time to hire a professional.

I found Aguilar Pool Company on Yelp a while ago. I'd bookmarked them based on their location and superb ratings in case I ever needed their services. Welp, now was the time so I reached out by phone and spoke with Rickie.

Rickie asked multiple questions to get a better understanding of my situation over the phone. He offered to stop by later that day. He arrived as promised and assessed our pool and equipment. He informed us that our single-cartridge filter was dilapidated and not strong enough to fight the problem our pool was having without constant, around-the-clock, hands-on labor. He was actually the third person to tell us this but we were hardheaded and decided to try the other way first. But, after hearing this again, we bit the bullet and decided to hire this company to do the job.

A pool technician from Aguilar Pool Company (sorry, I do not remember his name) arrived at the scheduled time on time and completed the job in a few hours.

I am writing this review on the following day and am happy to report that my pool is finally clearing up.

Rickie and his team are true professionals in this industry. They are super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They are objective and honest and they do not try to upsell you on things that you do not need (which unfortunately has happened to me far too often). My experience with his company was very good. They will definitely be my go-to whenever I am in need of any major pool service.

My pool guy of over 2 years left and move his business in the Central Valley leaving me with finding a new pool company that will meet my expectations, pricing and consistency. Thank God Rick came out and give me all that; I'm having problems with Algae lately due to many factors around my pool including landscape, my dog that love to jump in the pool with us; i discuss it to Rick and chris and they came out and gave me recommendations; i appreciate Rick coming out today to see it and test the water again and sure enough it needs another treatment, they service my pool every Tuesday morning and yes they are consistent on it and I like that about this company. I am a person that sees and appreciate peoples work and professionalism and by far this company has check all the boxes I wanted to be working with as long as I live in this I can call my little paradise. Thank you to you all!

These guys are great! We needed to replace our pool filter and heater at our home, and everything at the house was outdated - so it was a big job which required new electrical work, a new gas line, and a replacement of all the pool equipment. When things started to get a little complicated with our electrician, and I was concerned that I might relay incorrect information back-and-forth between companies, Rickie was kind enough to step in and get on the phone with our electrician personally so that we could ensure that the electrical work would be done correctly for when Aguilar came to update our equipment. It made my life so much easier, and I thought that it was an "above and beyond" thing to do.
Not only that, but when we ran into a slight hiccup in the pool equipment installation (not their fault), Rickie came up with an innovative idea to make sure they could get the job finished and even made a special trip back to my home to temporarily hook up our new filter while we waited for them to come back out and finish up the installation within the following days. This helped me tremendously as the water was getting pretty green and would have worsened without the filter running, and it allowed us to save ourselves the expense and trouble of draining and refilling the pool.
We're definitely regular customers now and will be calling Aguilar for any pool needs in the future!
