AJs Landscaping was recommended to me by a neighbor who had used them previously for a landscaping project. I had a plan from a landscape designer that I used to interview a few companies. I chose AJs and am extremely happy with the process and results.

The scope of my project was large (about 1/2 acre), and included the front and back yards. In addition to the plantings and sod, the project included concrete sidewalks, fencing, electronic and manual gates, a large artificial deck, crushed granite space, irrigation, and lighting.

The worked performed was excellent and consistent with the plan. I could't be more pleased with the results. I got more than my money's worth! The entire team was courteous throughout the project and hardworking. They were consistently at the job site first thing in the morning and worked a full day (a few times longer and several Saturdays). My project manager, Javier, kept me up to speed on progress nearly daily, checked in to see if I had questions, and cheerfully accommodated any changes I requested. The project was finished on budget and pretty close to on time had I not kept adding scope. Customer service is 5-star+. My neighbors continue to compliment me on the final project. I'm so happy to no longer be that neighbor with the horrible yard. I gladly recommend AJs Landscaping to anyone thinking about redoing their exterior spaces.

Javier and his team were amazing. They completely transformed our front yard . He did heavy excavation and design work. They regraded our slope, included beautiful retaining walls with redwood facia, and transformed an unusable space into a wonderful front yard. He regraded our steep driveway and made space for parking spaces in the front of our house.

Javier was very communicative and answered our many questions throughout this large project.

Javier and his team did a phenomenal job renovating our backyard this past summer. They replaced old concrete, added artificial turf, and elevated the overall design. They also reworked our drainage, which has been a lifesaver with all the recent rain. Our backyard was previously prone to flooding, but we have not had a single issue since Javier replaced the drain.

We finally got a call back to make an appt. and the PM showed up, and he said they could do the work. I was told I'd get a quote and some paperwork. A few texts to remind him to send this to us, and then we never heard from them again. Being reliable and accountable is really important for a big landscaping job. Obviously, we've looked elsewhere.
