Alameda Red Hanger Kleaners

Brought some items here recently on two occasions for dry cleaning. Service was fine. Clothes ready when promised. Seemed a bit pricey, but it's convenient and there aren't a lot of dry cleaners around these days due to the pandemic and result on the economy.

I'm planning on continuing to bring clothes here for dry cleaning.

Fine job with clothes but not very friendly. Their prices are pretty high which I would not mind if they were nice, greeted customers, or smiled. I was trying to be friendly asking about their recent move and a got cold stare and one word answers. Ummmm...ok..lots of other choices in Alameda.

Went in to have clothes dry cleaned and altered. The receipt to pick was for $66. When I went back to pick up my clothes they pointed to the line "Cashmere Sweater Long $6.50" and said they accidentally only charged me for one not two. You would think that would me that another $6.50 would be charged to my bill. I handed them my card and when they gave me the receipt they charged me $81! 66 + 6.50 does not equal $81! When I asked them to explain they said it was actually $7. That still doesn't equate to $81. After arguing back and forth with no apology I walked out. They do not properly explain their prices and will charge whatever they want. They were very rude and overpriced compared to other places in alameda!

I have had minor alterations/hemming/repair type work done here. The lady that oversees the alterations is super talented. She knows what she is doing. (she converted a dress into a skirt for me...I guess that is pushing the boundaries of 'alteration'... and she did a great job. Both she and the gentleman (I assume they are the owners), are very pleasant people.

I accidentally wore my expensive white jacket to a bar. My beautiful white jacket had jäger stains on it at the end of the night. All the dry cleaners I went to told me the stains were there to stay and there was no way they were going to come out. Red hanger hold me the same thing but that they would try their best. I picked up my jacket today and it looks better than the day I bought it. The prices here are very reasonable, the staff is super friendly and my jacket was ready on time. Lesson learned, don't wear a white jacket to a bar.

They're in my opinion a good dry cleaning place, though I might be saying that because they are super-close to my home and as far as I know affordable, because honestly this is the one and only dry cleaner I've been to. They get rid of stains, they don't create any new ones and they are quick about t.

They did an excellent job altering my dress! It was quick and fit perfectly. The people that own the place are very sweet and helpful.

i have used this dry cleaner for years, i find them reliable, honest and good quality. i have done wool suits, table cloths, shirts, blouses etc.
very consistent. will continue to use them.
