"Alameda Yellow Cab" is a professional and courteous taxi service.

I called the phone # listed on Yelp, and a real person answered the phone. She took down my info, gave me a fare, and an ETA for the driver. She gave me an ETA of 20-30 mins, which wasn't accurate because the driver still had a fare onboard. It turned out to be more like 45-60 mins before the driver arrived. So allow extra time for the driver to pick you up. The driver did call me when he was enroute. He arrived in a super clean Prius, and apologized for being late. He used a direct route to where I was going, and there wasn't much delays.

I would use this cab service again.

These folks are the absolute best and all around so nice!

When I call to schedule a ride, Paula already recognizes my number and cheerfully greets me, "Hi! I can hear her smile! If I miss her, immediately she calls back! She is professional, yet goes above and beyond, caring for me like we are family!

And Nabi who drives is just about the nicest person, like my Dad, assuring me we will arrive on time if not earlier. Such a pleasant ride even in traffic because I know we are well cared for.

This is my go to Cab company whenever I need a taxi. They always tell me 10 to 15 minutes but the driver is usually at my place within 5 minutes. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride. This is awesome especially for someone like me who needs to get somewhere on a moments notice. The drivers have always been friendly and they accept credit cards without trying to charge me extra fees for it. They even give me discounts depending on the distance I am travelling. The dispatchers greet me by my name when I call them (they must have caller ID) and are always just so pleasant to me. I will continue to use these guys whenever I need a ride to somewhere if its not feasible for me to drive. Thank you for always taking care of me
