4 years later, I called upon Alan again to install siding for the front of a 3-story apartment building in San Francisco. Alan is very knowledgeable of the City's requirements! He and his crew work very well with the neighbors, and are respectful of the tenants. The materials and service are top-notch! Alan is super responsive to clients and their needs. He is professional and trustworthy. He is worth every penny for quality and peace of mind. I can't thank you enough, Alan!

OK,now Alan is making up nonsense to cover for his lack of follow-through.
He and his worker did not lay down tarps as claimed, did not show pictures as claimed, did not follow through as expected. It shouldn't be the customer doing the final inspection; it should be part of his job. Alan, it is not OK to make up facts. He did finally clean-up but only after several contacts to him. Passing the buck onto the customer for your lack of follow-through is just low. Very disappointing.

Alan is a great guy, honest and will do whatever he can to accommodate your needs with his team. There were some major hurtles with the city and permitting but we both worked through it and the job ended up done on time. Had a party right after and everyone loves the new patio awning.

The entire back side of the house had vinyl that was in bad shape in need of repair. Alan explained what my options were and my decision was to replace it with newer, more improved vinyl siding. I also had two windows that needed to be replaced, so we added that to the overall job.

Alan's team was punctual and very thorough. They waterproofed the entire back side of the house, and the finished project looked great. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves as the old materials were messy.

I'll be working with Alan again to replace windows in the front of the house as we head into the cooler months.

The back of my house started to have some cracks from the old siding. Water had leaked above one of the windows last year, so I knew it was time to replace the siding.
Originally i wanted hardie backer because it will last forever. Alan does hardie backer but explained to me how heavy fiber cement is and how there may be better options. He gave me pros and cons of each material and left it for me to decide. Was never pushy, just very informative and educational.
I ultimately decided on vinyl siding since that will last forever too and I would never have to paint it. I'm a set it and forget it kinda guy haha.
He even explained to me how the windows were installed incorrectly by a previous contractor and he capped them correctly to prevent any leaking in the future. Just a true expert in his field.
He had a very fair and transparent price. He gave me a price and stuck to it, no additional fees.
Very happy with him and his expertise!! I would highly recommend!!

We have a five story house in SF.
We talked to a few contractors, Alan sounded the best and he was.
The job was done very professionally and it took them less time that originally promised. They even did a few things extra at no charge.

I had a siding leak from the aged wood sidings. Alan and Brian have done a fantastic job in overlaying a brand new Vinyl siding on top of the old one. I originally had some concern regarding the matching and edge trimming between the old and new sidings, but their work just blew me away. Brian was the guy who got the actual job done. He was so efficient and finished the work way faster than I expected. The new siding looks beautiful and blends in perfectly with the deck and the wood sidings on the other side of the house. I would highly recommend Alan-Vinyl Siding & Windows for any siding/windowing work!

Had a great experience with Alan Siding & Windows! I had a complicated vinyl siding installation in the light well of my 3-story building that included a lot of utility pipes, drain pipes, and air vents. I met with a few contractors about the project, and Alan was the only one who took notice of particular issues specific to my building and suggested solutions to them. His pricing was competitive, and he visited the job site regularly to check on the progress. Alan's installer Brian did an amazing job of working around all the pipes, windows, and vents. He came up with some creative solutions that made the installation not only professional and watertight but beautiful. Highly recommended. Five stars for Alan Siding & Windows!

Alan was so helpful to us in determining the best way to proceed with our project. He could have just taken our money but he explained that in our situation, it would be more cost-effective to go a different route. Can't recommend his services highly enough, you will be in great hands!
