Rarely do I feel compelled to do a same-day review for a business, but Aldo's is a true neighborhood gem and one-of-a-kind mechanic I was lucky enough to discover (thanks Yelp!). It's truly important to preserve small businesses, support them and watch them thrive in the neighborhood you love, and Aldo is a prime example!! Aldo not only gave me a quick & extremely fair quote over the phone for my oil change, he kept his word on his price and made sure his crew checked all my tires when I mentioned the TSPS light was on, changed the oil & filter and topped off all fluids for me. I got my car in tip-top shape in the same afternoon after I told them they can take their time as I wasn't in a rush. Aldo even blocked traffic for me to make sure I pulled out of the garage safely. I will always recommend Aldo to everyone for his honest and amazing level of service! Thanks so much, Aldo!!!

TRUTH BE TOLD....this is a straight up HONEST, ETHICAL, PROFESSIONAL that will treat you and your car with respect. I took my car in on Saturday because the headlight was intermittently going off and on. Aldo told me to bring in Saturday morning...after checking everything out it seem the connection need to be cleaned. Aldo showed me exactly what he did and I'm sure if it was anyone else they would had told me the car had electrical issues or the light element need to be replaced and $$$$ later they would to pull the wool over my eyes. His pricing was EXTREMELY fair.....HE HAS EARNED ANOTHER LOYAL CUSTOMER!!!

If you are looking for a kind, honest, and fair mechanic, Aldo is your man. He is hard-working, extremely patient, and so incredibly nice. He worked on my stepdad's Porsche for years before I inherited the family ML55 AMG, and all the problems that came along with it (being a 215k mile car). He is always so attentive, so sweet, and so incredibly fair with his pricing.

He always charged much less than what the dealership would have charged. Being a young person, I had already been screwed over by a horrible auto body place (Anchor Auto Body in Burlingame, avoid it like the plague!!), so I was a little afraid of handling the repairs on my car by myself. But Aldo truly treated me like family and put me at ease, each and every time I came in.

When the transmission on my beloved ML55 finally started to slip, he stayed late on the phone to make sure I was able to tow it somewhere and that I was safe. I ended up taking it to the dealership to spare him missing time with his family, but I know he would have waited for me. He is truly someone you want to employ, because he not only take incredible care of your car, but he extends that care to you, as well.

Aldo is as proficient and as honest as you will find in an auto mechanic. After years of taking my Porsche Boxster S to Fremont where I purchased it new from the dealer, I have finally found a shop here in San Francisco that I can trust. Aldo is courteous, fair, and knowledgable. Trust your Porsche with him, and you will not be disappointed.

I've grown to have serious trust issues with the Porsche dealers in the bay area (they try to overcharge you for services you don't need), so I was very thankful when I found Aldo. Whenever I have a problem with my 911 Turbo, Aldo is the first person I call, whether its a squeaky wheel, a front lip that needs replacing, a flat tire, or an engine check light, I know Aldo will give me the honest and direct answer without any of the BS the other Porsche dealers have given me. If you are as paranoid as I am about letting anybody touch your car, you should give Aldo a call.

In the last six months, I brought my porsche back to Aldo several times as I was preparing to sell my car. His previous work had been reliable and so I definately knew I wanted to bring my car back to him. Again llike before, he provided me good service at what I think are very reasonable prices. If anything, I think he could charge more. The only thing to know about Aldo is that he is a very straight forward guy and honest but he has a tendency towards forgetfulness and disorganization. For example, I would tell him 5 things I needed done on my car and he would come back with a report on the status of 4 out of the 5 things and tell me he didn't know the 5th thing I wanted done. So the communication was sometimes confusing and I felt like I had to stay on top of my list of what was happening cause I didn't want him to forget to fix something we had discussed. Also, when I picked up my car after all the work was done, he didn't have time to write me a receipt but said he would send it to me in the mail that day, but it ended up taking me 4 phone calls and 5 weeks to get him to finally send it to me. But usually he provides receipts right on the spot. Nevertheless, I think these are minor things to deal with considering his prices are very fair, his work is good and he is honest. And by the way, this guy knows exactly where to send you for a good espresso. I sold my Porsche last month and as I am writing this, I realize I'm a little sad that I no longer have a reason to go back to Aldo.
