I paid $950 to another Thermador service provider to come troubleshoot my column freezer. He said to change the control board as it will take care of all the issues. Changed the control board and freezer was still not making ice. He said it needs 24 hours. Still no ice. We had asked him to check to see if the water filter was inserted properly which he said it was. Wrong.

Called All American Appliance and Freddy said the water filter was not turned all the way to engage the water. Don't waste your time and call All American the first chance you get.

We've used Freddy in the past and have been happy with his demeanor and knowledge. This time he came to look at our Microwave, after the problem was explained, he stated that it was a 'glitch' that he wouldn't be able to repair, as it only happens 'intermittently'. A few touches of the buttons later, he reiterated that it was something that was very ODD but a non-fixable problem at that time. Fine. Then he proceeded to charge us not only the $75 fee for coming to the house, but and additional $75 for "work provided?"
It's our belief that if someone comes to trouble shoot and in 2 minutes decides it can't be fixed, why charge an additional fee for not doing anything?

Yes we paid it and yes we feel ripped-off.

My Dacor PCS130B single wall oven wasn't heating. The bottom bake heating element wasn't working. I tested the continuity and the heating element works. I called All American Appliance Repair on Monday and first available was Wednesday 3PM - 5PM. Freddy called at 3:15 PM to let me know that he'll be at my house in 15 minutes. He confirmed the continuity and after opening the bezel, he found the relay board solder had come off on the bake side. He told me the board is discontinued but he can solder it back. He did that and solder more places. He helped my wife clean the dust off while the bezel was removed. Replaced everything and tested the oven. Everything works! Freddy was friendly and professional. Even pointed out that our oven door hinges needed replacement (which we knew but procrastinated up until now).

One of the ovens on our Dacor range suddenly stopped working. We looked at several repair companies that service Dacor appliances and chose All American. We could not have been happier with the service provided by Freddy Flores who came to our home. He quickly diagnosed the issue and reset the oven which has worked perfectly since then. He also provided a couple other tips to keep the range in great condition going forward. Our only gripe is the way the company charges. It was $75. for the call-out then another $75 per additional half our as we recall. Since the entire repair took less than 30 minutes, the total of $150. seemed a bit excessive. That said, we would definitely call upon All American Appliance in the future should need be.

I self-diagnosed the problem with our oven- a broken broiler element. I contacted All American and they were very prompt. We chatted, they ordered the part (without requiring my pre-payment) and scheduled the install for less than a week later. Freddy called 10 minutes prior to arrival (on time) and got to work as soon as he got there. Instead of just installing the broken element he pulled the oven out of the wall, inspected the wiring then, while the oven was still on the dolly he replaced the element, tested the element and put the oven back in the wall. 45-50 minutes and he was done and on his way to his next call. He's a very friendly guy, knowledgeable and the other staff at the company are all very pleasant and accommodating. They are my first call next time, too.

I had All American Appliance Repair come by to fix my oven. Freddy came by and replaced the part in about 30 minutes. Once done with the oven, he told me that my hood and fridge fan and filter mechanisms need to be cleaned at the cost of about $400. He said, if left in their current state, the fridge and hood would malfunction due to heat overload, so I agreed to have him clean them. He spent about 1-hour cleaning and told me he was done. I paid him and Freddy left.

We then went on vacation and returned home a few weeks later and our hood began to act up so I called someone local to take a look. The new repair guy said there is a lot of grease build-up that needs to be removed. But wait! Freddy charged me $400 just a few weeks prior to supposedly "clean" the hood. We didn't use the stove or hood even once since Freddy "cleaned" it! Turns out Freddy never touched the hood but still charged $400. My advice to this business: in such a competitive market, consider swaying customers with honesty instead of deception.

Purchased a nice Viking microwave about a year ago that gets a lot of use by our family of four. Nevertheless, they just don't make appliances like they used to and it dieda year later. All American Appliance Repair was recommended to me and I spoke to Freddy who worked on diagnosing it over the phone. He showed up w/ the parts in hand, and after a brief assessment, his over-the-phone diagnosis was spot on! Our microwave is back in action and the wife is happy again, lol!

It was so nice that Freddy came prepared w/ the right parts and I didn't have to wait another month or so for the parts to come in, which has been so typical in my past experience w/ appliance repairs.

I can absolutely recommend Freddy's expertise with repairing your appliance.

Superb service! Freddy was prompt, competent, honest, efficient, and skilled. I can totally understand why they are the ONLY Dacor-authorized repair service in San Mateo County.

I don't know how we are having such miserable luck with appliances, but we have had multiple necessary repairs to our almost 3 year old refrigerator and 5 year old range. I think all repairs have been covered by warranty so far, so the manufacturer has always assigned the repair to All American Appliance. Freddy has been our service person every single time, and he is great, and is persistent in getting our problem fixed even when it was not at all clear what the cause of the problem was. We had the ice maker repaired under warranty in October and December, but then the warranty ended. Of course. And the ice maker did the exact same thing in May. We were prepared to just pay for the repair, though I am so frustrated that a 2.5 year old refrigerator (it was purchased 3 years ago but replaced 5 months later because it was a lemon) needs a repair every 6 months if we want it to make ice. But, after leaving 3 different messages with AAA, we NEVER got a call back. This is very common. In the 10 years we have been working with AAA, my top 3 complaints are that they rarely answer the phone, don't return calls, and take weeks to come make the repair. It is not unusual to call in September, get your appointment for your service call in October, have them come back with the necessary part to fix the problem in November.

If I could give a 10 star review I would. Freddy Flore, their excellent repair technician, did a fabulous job repairing and upgrading my Viking Stove. He was able to find an impossible rear vent that wasn't listed on any of their supplier's website. Freddy called all their suppliers and I'm sure he found last new one available.
