All American Appliance Repair

All American is excellent! Our Viking microwave hood died shortly after the warranty expired. We called Viking and they said since the warranty had just expired they would cover the cost and referred us to All American. John came out and replaced a fuse in just a few minutes.
Then a short time later it happened again and we weren't sure if Viking was going to cover it again. John was here when he diagnosed the problem and found the root cause which had probably caused it the first time but hadn't manifested yet. I called Viking and he spoke to them in a clear, concise, professional manner while clearly advocating for us. The Viking Customer Service rep. said she would check with her supervisor and get back to us since it was the second time. Viking got back to us and said they would.

All American evidently has a good long-standing working relationship with Viking and both John and the office manager, Shante, were instrumental in Viking covering this second cost for us. This was very much appreciated.

If you want a repair service that is reliable, caring, professional and knowledgeable, All American is the one to call!

John Baumann was knowledgeable, quick and friendly. I appreciated the advance warning of his arrival and he was perfectly on time. John gave us heads up on things we didn't even know to ask for! What excellent service; will definitely call on him again when the inevitable happens (even a Viking is merely an appliance). Thanks again, John!

Our wine fridge stopped working a few months ago, but we didn't get around to calling Viking until this month. Our fridge was still under warranty, so Viking told us to contact All American Appliance, one of their certified repair companies.

The lady that I spoke to was polite as she explained their pricing ($65 to come to our house, and $65 for each half hour of labor). We were able to make an appointment within the same week.

Tom was the technician who came to our house. He called me ahead of time to let me know he would arrive within 30 minutes. When he came the second time, he arrived right at 8am (our window was 8am-10am).

Since our wine fridge was still under Viking warranty, we did not have to pay All American at all. They took care of the required paperwork and completed the job within 2 weeks. This was only because they had to order the parts and split the work up into 2 visits.

We were very pleased with the quick and professional service. Highly recommended based on our experience!

We had an intermittent loud noise coming from our Viking refrigerator and after almost getting scammed by a fake appliance repair company, it finally dawned on us to call Viking directly. They referred us to All American Appliance and I can see why. We made an appointment and John showed up right at 8 am, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had a new damper motor installed within minutes. His professionalism and friendly demeanor did not go unnoticed and we'll absolutely call them back if the need warrants. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Had a problem with igniter for our new Viking stove and Viking sent us to All American appliances. John came out and was awesome! He took the time to explain everything and fix the problem. A great guy, we would defiantly use him again for any future needs. Thanks John :)

John Baumann was meticulous, timely, helpful and resourceful. He immediately figured out the problem with our Viking, ordered the parts, came back and fixed it. He is neat and orderly where he systematically disassembles and treats all parts carefully so they are not damaged. He REALLY knew the ins and out of the stove. Recommend him to anyone!

Ice maker in my Viking refrigerator stopped working. Called Viking and they provided referrals. After checking Yelp reviews of referrals, called All American Appliance Repair and so glad I did. Right from the beginning, it was top notch professional. Freddy is the best. He made some adjustment and ice maker started working. He ordered a part and came back to replace a circuit board in my Viking microwave as the readout for clock etc. had become very faint. He showed me how to replace water filter in my refrigerator myself. It is comforting to know I have a reliable contact for any future issues. Absolutely no hesitation to recommend Freddy and All American Appliance.

I'm very thankful that John Baumann came in today and fixed our Viking refrigerator. The refrigerator had problem of keeping the temperature low in the past year. We finally called Viking for an appointment. John diagnosed the issue and explained clearly to me about the root cause. And since the de-frost sensor has been broken for a while, there was huge amount of ice frost clustered everywhere in the freezer. John spent two hours thoroughly cleaning them using tools and often times even his own hands (without gloves). He also helped me get rid of the leftover ice in the drawer of the freezer and cleaned the floor. In the end he only charged for 1.5 hours of labor.

He is knowledgeable, professional, detailed oriented and just a happy and genuine person to begin with. I would highly recommend him. Based on what I've seen how John worked, I don't think those negative reviews tell the truth.

Best service we have ever experienced!

We had a double oven fail and it would have been very expensive to replace. We opted to try to troubleshoot and repair. We were referred to John Baumann (an owner in the company) who was beyond fantastic! He is extremely knowledgeable and completely fixed a complicated problem at a reasonable cost. John is a great person who truly cares about the customer.

John and his office clearly communicated the options, the agreed upon plan, ordered the necessary parts and followed-up on time and on budget with the repair. If you need appliances from Dacor, Viking, Broan or Blomberg repaired in the Bay Area, look no further than All American Appliance.
