All One Landscape

It took us quite a long time to pull the trigger on the backyard. We wanted to find the right parter, while making sure we weren't being completely taken advantage of. We found Ruben with All One Landscape on Yelp and after meeting with him, it was clear this is the direction we wanted to go.

They act with integrity. They plan, they show up, they do exactly what they say they'll do and commit to dates. They didn't slip, they just delivered!

We had some change requests in the process that they were able to quickly pivot, work us into their busy schedule and again, deliver what we think was a delightful experience.

We are thrilled with the outcome, and look forward to using them for future projects.

Steve and his team did an absolutely incredible job on our landscaping remodel, sprinkler install and driveway repaving. We hired a landscape architect to create a plan and Steve and his team executed it exactly to our liking. Steve's communication throughout the project was excellent. His crew worked quickly and cleanly and never left the jobsite dirty. They made sure to check with us if something in the plan was unclear, and were flexible to any real-time tweaks we wanted to make. Project was completed within 6 weeks. I would hire All One Landscape again and recommend without hesitation.

Steve and his crew did a great job in our landscaping. They mirrored the design to spec and was accommodating in making minor adjustment as needed. Greatly appreciated how they cleaned up the work area every day and was very responsive to questions. They were very conscientious to work within budget and made this project a positive experience.

I had steve install our entire property with landscape 2 years ago. He did an excellent job. 2 years later I called him back to do additional work. He came out, went over the additional work, was friendly and accommodating. He was too get back with me with costs for plants, lighting and to check on sprinkler system. That was over a month ago. I called several times over the past 6 weeks and had no respect or interest to get back to say whether I was on a schedule or wasn't anymore.

We just wrapped up a landscape project with All One Landscape. I interviewed a few companies and hired Steve based on his responsiveness, ideas and professionalism. He was also local, which was a requirement for me. His bid was fair and reflected the quality we received. Steve's crew showed up on-time every day and was very professional and clean. His project lead, Pedro, was A+! His attention to detail impressed my very picky husband. He was accommodating to any changes and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy - great customer service! One of the best contractors we've teamed up with that genuinely cares about the quality of their work!

I had great experiment working with All One Landscape in last 2 months. Our project was started at the beginning of Sep. 2022 as promised and most of things moved forward as scheduled. We made many small changes and ad-hoc requests and Steve was able to accommodate them with reasonable approaches.

The team are very helpful. For instance, one time we'd like to change the design of the fence which might not be the best idea after completion. The team recommended a much better way based on their rich experience on Landscape. We really appreciate it.

In term of quality, (though I'm not the expert), from what I can tell, they follow the best practice well. For instance, before the paver, it requires multiple layers at the base in order to make the paver sustain for long terms. I think they did a great job from my perspective.

This is a long overdue review, but i was compelled to write one recently. All One Landscaping is a rare bird. Steve and his crew really care about producing quality work and the customer experience. When we moved into our home we had a dirt lot. Creating a comfortable and functional backyard was going to be a big task. We reached out to a number of landscapers but Steve was the most responsive and straightforward. He gave us a clear reasonable quote and great feedback about our ideas. It really felt like he genuinely cared. With his quote and great customer service we decided to book All One.

The project was a big one and took several weeks. It included over a thousand feet of pavers, pergola, retaining wall, grass, fireplace, everything and the kitchen sink. Steve was extremely approachable and always sided with the customer. We had a few hiccups, like with any big project, but Steve quickly resolved the issues. When something new came up, he came to us quickly and worked with us to make a fair adjustment. Overall, besides being really busy an taking a few extra followups, it was a good experience working with Steve and the results were excellent.

It's been over a year now and everything it still in great shape. We love our backyard! I was compelled to write this review because during all the rain we had a couple of months ago, part of our electrical went out. After doing a bit of poking around I realized it was in the wiring which was installed close to a year ago so we reached out to Steve, half expecting to not get a call or say it's been too long. Amazingly, Steve responded quickly and was very apologetic. He stated he stands by his work and had an electrician out a day later. The electrician was extremely kind and vowed to fix the issue. After that visit we had more epic rain but no issues came up. It was fixed!

While it was a bit tough to get ahold of All One Landscaping at times due to their workload, it's difficult to find a contractor who genuinely cares about his clients and stands so confidently behind his work. All One was overall great to work with and I've recommend them to several folks. Absolutely worth getting a quote for your project.

Let me provide you the other side of the story.

"Cannot speak to the quality of the work." Yes, I did get a reference from the neighbor. However, I do not write reviews for businesses based on the work the company has done for my friends or neighbors - same way I do not write reviews about restaurants when my friends tell me they had great food at some restaurant! Point is, this review was not about the work - may be your company would have done great work if they ever bothered responding about what the issue was (more on this below)!

Regarding your company never getting deposit from me. - Your response to my review is even more frustrating! READ your own contract (and for convenience I am also posting the picture). There is NO mention of deposit anywhere. Even the email that was sent along with contract from your company - the email CLEARLY said that first payment is due at the first day of the project. There was NEVER any mention of any deposit in all the conversations we have ever had!! I had sent the signed contract back months before the start of the project.

Having said that, I wanted to find out more. So I did dig up my emails and as it turns out, someone from your office had sent a single email asking for deposit after couple of weeks of me sending the signed contract back. The email was laying among many junk emails and yes this is completely my fault. However, arguably, the signed contract clearly laid out the plan for payments without any mention of deposit and then outside of this binding contract, I am being asked months before for non-refundable deposit which is not even mentioned in the contract! Even then, I would have never had issue paying this deposit if I had read the email or someone had at least reached out that I was missing the deposit.

There was never any follow up call about this. I had messaged you personally many times about if we are good to start the project and I had called your office. There was NOT even a single response from any one of you that there was an issue with deposit and this project was not happening. This is the whole point of review. If one of you had ever mentioned that "hey we never got deposit and that is why we are canceling the project" instead of making me think for months that we are good with project, I would not have even bothered coming here. At least now I know!

We did our backyard last year, Steve and his team did a phenomenal job! We added pavers, grass and irrigation. The grass quality is top notch. The pavers look so neat. The job was done on time and hassle free. All my friends and family love our backyard.

Steve and crew recently finished our backyard project and we have nothing but positive things to say about the entire process. We interviewed many landscape contractors and decided on Steve for a number of reasons. Not only was his pricing fair, but we felt that he was genuine and honest and had high standards for his employees and their work. From start to finish, Steve's crew was professional. Their work was clean and precise. The project lead, Pedro, was fantastic. He always had a smile on his face and completed the work to our exact requests. As things came up, Pedro and Steve, figured out solutions and never made excuses. Throughout the process, I asked a lot of questions, and they always explained things thoroughly and never made us feel like I was bothering them.
