All Star Junk Removal

I sent several pictures from multiple angles and did some measurements myself. Hybrid junk: dirt, soil, construction debris... Soil is so heavy for it's raining for a long time.

I contacted them and they gave me a reasonable price! It was a good deal!!!

Three people came next day even in rainy weather. They worked so hard and cleaned everything on the ground. I was so satisfied!!!

All star junk removal is great and very reasonably priced. Needed help moving a peloton bike I bought from the avenues in SF to San Bruno. They were able to carry it down a flight of stairs and up to my unit in an hour! They wrapped the bike and made sure it was secure in the truck. Definitely recommend them for any moving needs.

Carlos and his crew are amazing! If I could give more stars I would, highly recommend! I have used them several times and will continue to do so in the future. Easy to schedule with, they arrive on time and very reasonable prices. Everyone is very respectful/hardworking. I just had to point to what I wanted gone, and in the blink of an eye I was left with clean areas each time. These guys were so fast and took a huge load off my plate. Thank you Carlos!!

They did a great job with my project. Moving from a big house to a small apartment, I had a ton of stuff to get rid of. Scheduling and getting an estimate over the phone was very efficient. They came on time. Took care of everything and even steeped up afterwards.

I reached out initially and Len answered immediately. I gave Len my info and what I needed. He asked for some photos to text to him of what I need removed, very simple. In a day, Len gave me an estimate and at that time I reserved a date and time for the removal of the furniture.

Other removal companies request to come to your home first, look at what you need removed, then estimate. Holy heck! As a single woman, no, absolutely not. Man, did I get attitude from another junk removal company, too. This tells me my intuition is spot on. I'm not allowing you in my home to look at my private life then either up-charge me or potentially come back at a later date to burglarize my home. Also, if I say no to their estimate, now they've been inside my home, my private life, not cool at all. Not a good business model.

Len and crew are very respectful and friendly. They arrived when they said they would and also confirmed with me the day prior.

I highly recommend Len and crew for your removal needs. They're very busy so you might want to give them some time before your removal date, maybe a week or more. I gave Len 2 weeks notice to ensure we could book the time I needed prior to new furniture delivery.

Leonard was awesome! Great customer service, super responsive, and was able to get the job done right away and in less than an hour.

It was time to clean out our SF garage and I'm glad we chose this company for the job. His team arrived with a hauling truck and grabbed all of our junk. They did a very thorough job and communicated with us during the entire process, ensuring they were only taking what we designated for them.

The price was reasonable and fair. Leonard was very transparent regarding what they could take and not take. If ever I need a junk removal again or have to refer friends, we know who to call.

Len was extremely responsive and professional. I called for pricing, sent a few pictures of what I wanted hauled away, and got a reasonable quote over the phone. Scheduled an appointment for haul away for the next day.

They arrived right on time, were very prompt in removing my unwanted items, and ended up charging me slightly less than I had been quoted on the phone. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely use them again.

Let me first be clear that it took me a while to do this review because I wanted to absorb everything from our experience.
We have been looking for a junk removal service for a long time. We even tried 1-800-Junk, talked to folks who did this already and looked into their recommendations, and of course did our own research in and outside of Yelp. We did quite a few onsite consultations so they can assess the work and space, which were offered for free! Some were very quick to quote a very expensive rate, while others moved way too fast by showing up with their truck and team ready to work! But this place and their management team took their time with us and were very friendly when they came by our property. Randy talked about his strong roots to our city - his hometown, and after a long time coming and a lengthy process with others, we were finally sold.

But you're probably wondering, "Why not a perfect score?" The stars are based on both high and low marks for the service we received before, during and after.

Higher-rating for:
- Initial response rate.
- Price was definitely the best we've seen compared to anyone in the area!
- Friendly onsite consultation process.
- Leonard's professionalism.
- They literally took everything, but liquids!
- They did a lot of heavy lifting, including carrying loads from the second floor.
- They completed the job within 2.5 hours with a crew of 3-4 per job.
- Due to issues listed under "lower-rating," they discounted our final price on the first job and offered a lower rate for booking them again.

Lower-rating for:
- We had to do a lot of the legwork when it came to taking apart things that we were told can be done by their team (e.g. shed).
- They didn't have the right tools to do the job they initially said they could do.
- They accidentally hauled away a neighbor's item that we had to replace (and almost made the same mistake with the gardener's tools) so their attention to care and detail needs work.
- They tried to negotiate a higher price on the day of, which should not be the case if we settled and agreed to a price and not an estimate for the work (unless it were to lower the price because of an incomplete job).
- They have a very young team so often their communication skills are limited and awkward (outside of Leonard).
- There was no follow-up, especially when issues popped up! I had to be the one to reach out.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed by Randy because when we tried to communicate with him (as we were under the impression he was the manager), he didn't offer much of a solution. However, as the lead, we found out that Leonard could also make key decisions if needed. Although this was helpful, it would have been good to have this clarified to us at the very beginning. In my opinion, it is ideal (and it just makes the most sense) that the person who does the assessment/onsite consultation is also present at the time of the job and/or leads that job to avoid any confusion and any misleading information.

We understand this was a work-in-progress and not everything can be perfect. We would still consider them for future work, especially with Leonard's help. So to close, although there were pros and cons, we finally got this big job done and for that we are grateful.

This was an unexpected delightful experience with Randy and team. The team was on time and removed all my old junk. I highly recommend them and they earned every penny! I will work with them again and appreciate their honesty and work ethic.
