I got a mixed feeling with this shop. Before I purchase my vehicle I took my car for a pre-purchase inspection. It took them 2 hours to take a look when other places just check it right away. (Also costs ~$200) after 2 hours they basically just handed me a report without going through any details or explanation. I had to further request that. Like i thought it's basic common sense to walk through a report with customer?
Anyways so when the technician went thru the report he told me certain things I need to take care of and it's gonna cost about a couple hundreds. Which is within an acceptable range for me so I purchased the car. Then when I actually dropped off the car they told me I need to replace more stuffs that ended up costing me ~$2000.
After I picked up my car I noticed there is something unusual so I called them and asked them about the problem. They tried to charge me AGAIN for another inspection. I had to argue with them and waited another 2 hours to get my car fixed.
At this point I am sure I won't return in the future. I believe they are knowledgeable. However, I feel like a dollar sign to them. All they want is take as much money from me as possible. It's great for people who know what they want and have the problem fixed without any service/basic manner. However, I cannot do business with people without trust.
Oh and one thing, their time range is real bad. It's 2 hours wait for any basic stuffs. Anything that requires more than 2 hours they won't even give you any update. Just... plain bad service.

Came at 9:30am to drop off my car for an oil change and they did it quickly within an 1.5 hour. I had just sat down for lunch nearby and they called to say my car was ready for pick up. Trung helped me and he was very polite and courteous. $70ish for a synthetic oil change which is a fair price considering other places were offering me $115 for an oil change! I will be back

today we Saturday 08.24.24 got oil change and tire rotation and Alignment on my 2014 NISSAN NV200 . the job was done very clean fast and the best price . thank you guys I appreciate what are you done. I would give more than if it was possible.

This place was great. Made appointment online for next morning. Got synthetic oil change cheaper than all other shops I asked around and was done in less than 40 min. Couldn't be happier. Will come back

If you're like me, you're skeptical on finding good auto repair shops and trusting your vehicle with them. My Yukon needed a Freon recharge and if you guys know the newer style Freon isn't cheap. After shopping around, I found Almaden auto repair to be a fair deal. I called and spoke to Anna. She told me they were busy but was gonna try to work me in and made me an appointment immediately. I dropped off my vehicle first thing in the morning and did a great job of staying in communication with me, recommending some upgrades and ultimately doing a great job. I highly recommend this shop not only for AC jobs but for all your automotive needs.

Was looking up a place to get my oil changed because I haven't had time to do it myself. Search around and Almaden auto repair got back to me fast with a price and appt time. Came in the lobby, filled out a quick form, and just hung out in the lobby for about 30 minutes. This place is nice and clean with classical music playing in the background which was relaxing. I've been here like ten years ago once so I decided to come back. I recommend this place because it's organized, well managed,and just listening to the employees interacting with each other and customers, you can tell they're very professional. Bringing in your car for anything can be daunting because you hope for the best and fear for the worst but this place eases your mind.

They want charge me a fortune to expensive. They didn't offer to check it they went on what I said .

My BMW indicated that it needed some service work. The folks from the Steven's Creek dealership were bombarding me with emails and sales calls, but based on my last experience and the excessive prices they charge, I decided to look for an alternative.

I used the Yelp function to request a quote from a different dealership originally but ended up selecting the option for others to bid by mistake. I'm so glad I did this, because the dealership never responded, but Almaden Auto Repair did. They sent me a quote for my my break fluids that beat out the others.

Scheduling the appointment was pretty easy. They send you a link to calendar, you pick your slot, and then they send you a confirmation when the appointment was confirmed by email. They also send you texts (if you opt for it) to remind you of the appointment and when the car is ready for pick up.

I dropped off my car at 9 am and because I asked them to also do the regular check up--which they ended up doing free of charge--I had to wait a few hours, but not too long. Got a text a little after noon that my car was ready. They even reset my oil prompt (which I asked them to do). Best of all, they ended up coming UNDER what they quoted.

There was no upselling (which I experienced at BMW all the time), they were friendly, fast and efficient. What more can one ask. I think this will be my go-to shop going forward and I recommend it my female friends, too.
