Recently had a situation where our appliance took a while to arrive due to Covid backlogs... and when we got the unit it didn't function properly (definitely not Al's fault, at all). Was exceptionally happy and impressed as Al and his team got me a replacement unit of a different, acceptable brand quickly and in time for the upcoming holidays. Al and Manuel (Al's installer) were great people to deal with. Thank you!!

Al's a class act. This dude went above and beyond for me to get a range that's impossible to find during the Covid shortage.
His team is awesome and stayed late to help deliver my stove. Excellent service! Phenomenal turn around time. If you go to Al for your remodel you will not be disappointed. He's the man. Couldn't be more grateful.

I rarely write reviews, however Al and Al's appliance went above and beyond. I was looking for a unique range and had called a number (over 12) of other appliance shops around the Bay Area and everyone was backordered. I called Al's and not only did they have the appliance coming in shortly, but Al personally spoke with me, was able to move some things around and scheduled the delivery same week. I was beyond impressed. Fast forward to the delivery day and the 3rd party delivery company had picked up the wrong dishwasher. Al was able to rectify the issue and get another drop off later that day. Al and his staff were friendly, very responsive and did kept to their word. I highly recommend Al's Appliances.

We were to have a service call to fix our range today. When the owner of the company came to our house to repair our range, I politely asked that he and his helper wear a mask as my wife and I are immunocompromised and susceptible to COVID infection. They were rude, refused to wear masks and basically stormed out of our home while I discussed the matter with my wife. We will never do business with this company. They were very unprofessional.

Our new dishwasher was our second major appliance purchase from Al's and again it was great. Sales experience was excellent. Informative and good pricing. Delivery and installation was also excellent. Delivery people were careful with our home and did a great install. They tested the dishwasher and explained the controls. Thank you Al's.

Al's is great, Al took very good care of me when I called nearly in tears because I was so disgusted with the Maytag I had bought a few months ago from Davies down the Peninsula which they had recommended! The Maytag Bravos XL is such a piece of junk - our clothes, sheets, towels had a film on them! They were never really clean - gross.

Anyway, Al to the rescue. I'd heard that Speed Queen made washing machines for home use from a repair man who swears by them. Also very appealing is that they are made by hand in the US by a small factory in Minnesota (or was it Wisconsin, I don't remember)

Al confirmed with what the repair man said - get the top loading model that is NOT electronic, it has old school dials so you don't need to worry about a computer going screwy on you which is very expensive to fix.

Al gave me a great price and got the washing machine to us faster than anyone else could. It seems he's got a great relationship with Speed Queen.

My first time shopping for kitchen appliances and decided to stop by the local Al's Appliances. Aldie was very helpful and really knew his appliances. Walking in expecting just to look at the prices, I walked out understanding exactly which appliances to get for my house and why. The prices offered was also very low, and he was able to get us all the appliances we needed in a few days! At the lowest price I've seen as well!

Will definitely return if we ever need appliances again, and I highly recommend this place!

      Decent prices.
Best stainless steel hood with two fans f I r under $200. The suction is so strong, it will hold up a pot lid.
      Albie is your man.
Delivery guys are good too. For the stove in and I didn't think it was possible

The *Absolute WORST* - ZERO stars.

My property management company had Al's Appliances replace my decades old refrigerator. Four guys delivered the fridge. But the "NEW" refrigerator leaked continuously, filling the crisper drawers with water. After weeks of this and finding no other solution, I called my property management company and told them about the problem. They sent a repairman who tried to fix the fridge, but it still leaked, so I called them again. That very day I receive a copy of the email to Al's Appliances requesting a replacement fridge.

Al calls me on Friday and says he wants to try fixing the fridge before replacing it. "We'll be out Monday around 4pm to fix it, and replace it Tuesday if we can't repair it."

Monday comes and goes - No call, No show.

Tuesday I call Al's the minute they open. "Oh, we'll come out today and try to fix it, and make another appointment tomorrow to replace it." WTF??? Who has time to sit around waiting for repairmen that never come??? "NO," I say, "You said you would repair it yesterday and replace it today. I was here all day yesterday and you never showed up. So you need to repair it or replace it TODAY." "Ok," he says. And we set an appointment for between 3 and 5pm.

Around 4pm a *single* guy shows up with the fridge. I take everything out of my old fridge and make space while he takes the fridge apart. Then he tries to take it down the stairs ALONE and he can't do it. He calls for help, but they won't send anyone. So I offer to try to help, but we can't get it down the curved stairway. He calls Al's again and they tell him I have to make ANOTHER appointment. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT??? So I call Al's and tell them - I have a delivery guy here trying to deliver a fridge, the old one is in the hall, the new one is on the sidewalk, and you need to send someone to help him. Al gets on the phone and begins to mansplain how they *always* just send one guy to deliver the fridge and if they had known the hallway was curved blah blah blah. Never mind that FOUR guys delivered the fridge initially from Al's. Never mind that if they had come to repair it like they said they would on Monday they would have seen for themselves that the hallway is curved. He is adamant that I have to make another appointment ("YOU WANT YOUR REFRIGERATOR OR NOT?!"), and I am equally adamant that it needs to happen TODAY ("I want you to do WHAT YOU SAID YOU WOULD DO!"). I have missed THREE DAYS of work because of this unbridled incompetence! The conversation ends with Al seeming to think telling me he's going to call my property management company is going to be some kind of *threat*. Hey Al - Yelp much?

I am strongly recommending that my property management company dump Al's as their go-to appliance store. And for anyone considering using his services, I have this to say: Al is a Grade A Jackass who couldn't care less about you as a customer. 阿爾迪會不敬你。
