Our regular go to bakery was closed so we decided to give a different place a try. Picked up a whole matcha cake for my dad's birthday. It was like a matcha sponge cake. Beef light, delicious and not too sweet. The cakes are very well priced here for what you get. Would defiantly try this place again next time.

New-ish place. I was walking by with some friends and doing errands and came in here. It is small, however, there is a large turn around of tables. I had a mango shaved ice which is your standard like most of the places in Richmond but this was downtown. Service was fast and the price was reasonable.

I really, really like this place!
I stop in every couple of nights for a nanaimo bar or two. It's dangerous to live this close, but so, so very enjoyable :)
The girl that works there seems to work every night is super sweet. She recognizes me and even if we don't speak the same language she acts happy to see me every time I walk in and takes care to wrap my treats perfectly in the bakery's cellophane wrapper. I like to change up my order a bit each time and try different spongy cakes or cookies, but mostly stick with the nanaimo bars. They're irresistible.
The price is great for downtown at ~$1-$2 a pop, it's a basic bakery with a small selection of sweets and not much else but the stuff they do have is yummy. It's in the bottom of the H-mart and is probably pretty easy to miss, but pay attention and you'll be rewarded sweetly!

It's ok only, more cream than cake. Looks like a solid cake to buy and then it is cream, only good part it is fresh cream.

I pick up the bread at H-mart, the price is definitely on the lower end , but the quality of both services and taste are not lacking at all.

Located just beneath H Mart on Robson, this tiny bakery is just amazing. I actually stumbled upon it yesterday when walking around, and went in, and was struck dumb looking at the assorted pastries and yummies they had going there. I was attracted to the side, where they had stuff the attendant said had JUST come out of the oven, Assorted Cream Cheese buns and such. I decided on a Sausage bun. They wrapped it in a nice clear bag and I took it back to work for me. I must say, I was shocked and amazed at how good this was, essentially a pizza, but on tasty, and I mean TASTY French flaky pastry, with onions, cheese, corn (!!) and sauce, this was tantalizing for the palate.... and DIRT CHEAP. 2 bucks for it, which is almost a steal for what you are getting. This is my new favorite place now (I went again the next day!) and needs to be discovered by more people! (but not so much I can't get sausage buns anymore hehehe)
