Ricardo, went above and beyond for me. I was having issues with my A/C unit where it abruptly stopped working for no reasin and he was able to lock in a time and see me within a few days. He was extremely responsive, genuine and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose and address my issues, the unit is now working better and is much more responsive than it ever has been. I highly recommend him and his team! My little Bully is back to enjoying the inside of the house on these hot days!! He values your time and gets the job done, worked with me on costs and various affordable options to help me stay within my budget and be back to having a nice and cool house.

Middle of August in Marin County... I've experienced HVAC Failure and flooding. I immediately went to yelp for quotes and I chose Rick (Ricardo Mora: American Heating & Air) out of 10 other quotes & responses because of his straight forward, personalized and clear message that was followed with a genuine phone call where I immediately knew that he worked with integrity, competence and care. His arrangement demonstrated right away and set him apart from others that he wanted to do the right thing for the clients.

Rick and his partner arrived promptly on the time as he promised and they went straight to trouble shooting. They got the work done in 1.5 hours despite the fact that it could've turned into a much more profitable project and have taken advantage of the situation. I was so appreciative of their high integrity. They were very professional, competent and extremely helpful in explaining everything to me in a thoughtful and informative way. He even consulted and shared his experience on home HVAC insurance policies and his recommendations, shared ball park estimates of the HVAC units and went above and beyond to answer all my questions to help me stay informed about my HVAC unit and other complications that could arise in the future.

This could've turned into a true nightmare with flooding and additional damages but they took care of everything promptly and cleaned everything up. They even helped replace the filters without additional charge. They kept the quote very low and I was more than happy to pay twice the quote for how incredible they solved the problem with such care and professionalism. Rick arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed our heater. Was courteous and very professional. We asked him to look at another gas wall heater for safety concerns. He quickly diagnosed a cracked heat exchanger and took photos to show us the problem. Advised us to stop using the heater immediately as it was an immediate risk to our health. Now we have to figure out how we will hear our home, but I will forever be grateful to him for finding this problem!

Five star service, start to finish!

Messages flooded in pretty quickly after my HVAC project "request-a-quote" and I chose Rick/American Heating because of his personalized response. (Not to mention their 5* rating!) I understand larger companies are busy and use auto-reply but for old-school girls like me, I appreciated the human touch.

My mom's dinosaur furnace was not working and Rick worked SOOOOO professionally and patiently with her (she has significant verbal/receptive aphasia,) explaining all the options clearly. (SIDE NOTE: Aphasia is an acquired communication disorder that impairs a person's ability to process language, but does not affect intelligence. Please always treat them with respect and speak to them, not to their "translator." Rick was amazing with her, even writing out her options because that helped her understand.)

Personal feelings aside, he was professional and clear about the repair options. Prices were fair and as quoted. My mom chose a band-aid for now but he'll definitely be the one we call when time to replace the heater.

Parts ordered, furnace repaired, house is warm again.

Great HVAC firm in Santa Rosa. I called Rick a few weeks ago when one of my two units stopped working. The soonest he was available was today and I am glad I waited and did not contact another firm. Rick was right on time and is a super nice guy. He worked on the unit for about 45 minutes trying to figure out why the compressor was not kicking in. Finally determined that a rat had eaten through one of the thermostat wires where it went through the exterior wall. Easy fix and a very reasonable price. Rick explained everything he was doing in detail and does not try to upsell you into unneeded service or repairs. This will definitely be my go to firm for any future HVAC services. Most of all he is just a great, friendly, born and raised Santa Rosa guy! Trust all of the 5 star reviews his firm has.

American Heating & Air did a fantastic job at telling me what was wrong with my system and giving me heat this cold winter. Professional and knowledgeable.

Ricardo was great! He responded extremely quickly to my request for a quote on a new furnace and adding a whole house fan. After coming over to look at our space, he was able to get me on his schedule the next week. The work was done in 2 days and I couldn't be happier. Winters and summers are going to be a lot more enjoyable now.
