I'm not really much of a reviewer but I had to say something about our experience at Anderson Honda. We called early in the morning to go check out a car and Arther helped us out every step of the way. He's crazy busy and some times he was literally "running" back and forth to help his customers out. You never see something like that anymore in customer service jobs anymore. He went above and beyond my expectations and was extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle we ended up purchasing. Outstanding experience!!!

Dishonest service department. Took my car to Yarnell's, a VERY reputable shop, after Anderson told me I needed five things done. Yarnell's said NONE of the things Anderson told me I needed were required, NONE!

Stay away!

I stopped by Anderson Honda to look at a 2016 Mazda Miata GT with manual transmission. When I discussed the car with the saleswoman, she said that Anderson Honda does not allow pre-purchase inspection with my local Mazda mechanic. That is a red flag for buying a used car without a warranty. Unlike Carmax which has a 10-day return policy on any used vehicle, Anderson Honda has a 5-day return policy for credit only. So, if I purchased the Miata and found major issues, I would not get my money back - only credit for another Honda.

I decided to take the Miata for a test drive, and that's where things got interesting. For the longest time, they could not get the car to me. The saleswoman claimed that no one knew how to drive a manual. In reality, the car battery was dead and needed to be jumped. How do I know? After the test drive, I dropped off the car and turned off the engine. I decided to verify how the rear camera worked and the car would not start! The saleswoman immediately knew the battery was dead.
During the test drive, she hinted to take the car on the freeway (probably to charge up the battery). Since I did not know it was jumped, I decided to do a short test drive and that was insufficient to charge it back.

I wrote back to Honda Anderson, to have them check the battery, but the response was underwhelming. They claimed it was all fine. I don't understand why it was necessary to lie to me about the battery all this time. It does not speak well of honesty or integrity of the dealership. I would avoid buying used vehicles here.

My sales representative, Sam Abrahimi, had the tough job of making what was potentially a cumbersome task for me, very manageable and seemless. After purchasing a 2022 Honda CRV from my local Honda dealer, just 5 months ago, my vehicle was totaled by another motorist. My local dealer was unable to locate my "wish list" vehicle. Sam was able to locate "a twin" to my totaled vehicle! He was courteous, sensitive to my dilemma and reassuring that all would be taken care of professionally and expeditiously. Wanted to buy a car, but they said no negotiations. They were willing to put gas in.

Staff is very polite and nice. I have seen more effective sales processes, though.

They have been here a long time, though so must do many things right.

The service department here is a joke. Had an appointment and wasn't even seen until about an hour later. What's the point of even making an appointment if you're not going to respect the time. Not only did we wait an hour just to get the process started, there was an issue after we got the car back that wasn't there before. Will definitely not be coming back to this location, left a very bad taste.

I went to Anderson Honda to trade in my car for the newer model and I got to work with Robert Sahabi who helped me with the process. He was patient and helpful, he was not pushy and was very resourceful. I appreciated his support in getting the new lease.
