This review has been long over due! After having a bad dentist experience else where, I found Dr. Rowe by the reviews below. And I am so glad I did! A previous dentist had quoted me $1600 for all this unnecessary dentist work. It was Dr. Rowe's second opinion I seeked and he confirmed that most of the dentist work was not necessary. My total bill from him was only a few hundred dollars (quite a difference). My second visit with him was great - no cavities, just a normal cleaning!

I trust him 100%. His wife, the hygienist is also really nice. You can tell they are really genuine people who love what they do and aren't out there to get your money. They love talking about their family too, which is great. Never had a problem with the receptionist either, she's very friendly. If only they were an optometry office too, I would go to them for that as well!

The only reason I stopped going here was because I had a different insurance that they didn't accept. But once I'm back to my original insurance, you bet I'm going back to Dr. Rowe! They don't have the newest dental office, but they do have a parking lot in the back (I hate finding parking) and knowing that I can go in there and not have to worry that I'm being cheated means a lot to me!! Make an appt with them, you won't regret it!

My actual date of service was on January 8, 2013.

Tell me why on March 28, 2014 was the first time I got a WHIFF of any charge.

OVER a YEAR?!!? Who does that? Unscrupulous folk do.

Let's back up. I went to Rowe early last year to test out the waters with a dentist in my area. I relocated years ago and still am traveling 25 mins to see my dentist.

I was having horrible tooth pain, I searched on Yelp and found Rowe, great reviews and called them immediately. Appointment was easy to come by and staff were a breeze. I even enjoyed the warm and well dressed dental assistant, super old school, but I felt coddled, made me feel safe and secure.

The entire appointment lasted about 45 minutes, the doc spent over 25 mins of that time with me, explaining and pointing, providing me with brochures and answering EVERY question I had. Unheard of. I spend 5 mins MAX with my current dentist, the only time I spend any more than that is when I am getting a root canal or a crown.

WOW, I thought, I feel really cared for. And the cool photo technology was impressive. The doc pointed out from the photo, the pink line traveling through my molar was a CAVITY and that was the reason for my pain. He said it with confidence and several times, always referring back to the photo technology.

ALL of this was a SCREEN for CRAP diagnoses.

A few days after the appointment, I was still having pain, it was excruciating, to the point I could not function at work or sleep. My intuition told me this was not just a simple cavity.

I decided to get a second opinion from my dentist. Just one simple x-ray, not a fancy color photo technology told my dentist within 3 mins the source of the pain was a FRACTURED molar.

I was completely shocked.

I wanted to call Dr. Rowe to let him know of his wrong diagnosis.

His practice directly connected me to him and I let him know about the fracture. I could hear the hesitation and immediately after, he said, "I said it was a fracture."

WHAT?!?! I was shaking.

The point of the call was to let him know of his error, not report him. I just wanted him to be aware. In no way was I trying to avoid payment. Just informational, so he can be more careful in what he tells his patients.

After I received the notice in March from my insurance, I called them immediately and I was told the following happened:
1) Rowe's office billed my insurance 10/2013, NINE months after my service
2) Got declined, my benefits were maxed out
3) They continued to bill a couple more times through 2013, to no avail
4) March 2014 they tried again and it was declined, as the service was over a YEAR
5) June 2014 they tried again and was declined

June 6, 2014, Rowe's office finally decided to bill me personally. This was the FIRST time in SEVENTEEN months I received ANY attempt to collect the $125 for the January 8, 2013 service.

I called their office after I received the notice and let them know my displeasure of getting billed so late. Reception explained they were trying to do ME a favor by dealing with my insurance and finally when they exhausted EVERYTHING they had to bill me. She didn't have a response to WHY it took NINE months for their office to bill my insurance in the first place.

I KNOW WHY. The doc KNEW I was not satisfied and confrontational. When a patient's insurance is billed, a statement of benefits is sent to the patient. He didn't want to fan the fire. He was hoping the flame would go out.

NO, I still remember your abhorrent ethics. Check is in the mail for my balance due. Enjoy!!!

No matter how great your technology is and how much time you spend with your patients, it doesn't negate incompetency and then a lack of honesty.

THIS OFFICE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Unprofessional, no accountability, avoid.

Dr. Rowe is a great dentist and overall human being.

I came to him with concern over some previous dental work I had.
He thoughtfully listened as I explained to him my experiences with my last dentist. I told him that I had returned to my former dentist multiple times concerning a filling she had done and then re-done. I told him that I no longer had dental insurance, but a new found fear dentists in general.

Dr. Rowe listed and really took care of me. He was thorough with his examination and did an excellent job of fixing my filling. He and his staff were able to work with my budget and calmed my fear of dentists. He went so far as to call me days after my new filling to check in on my recovery. Dr. Rowe uses state of the art technology in order to do his best work and it pays off.

I would recommend him to friends, family and co-workers in the future.

Dr.Rowe for me is the best dentist I've ever had. He's knowledgeable and explains everything it was nice to me I can trust him 100%. And ladies work there all super polite and nice. They're really think about ur teeth health and really helpful. I recommend highly.

Dr. Rowe and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They clearly care about their patients and do everything they can to make your visit as smooth and easy as possible. They go the extra mile to ensure you're well taken care of, and Dr. Rowe clearly has the loyalty and respect of his staff. I wouldn't hesitate to send any friends or family to him.

Been coming here since I was a kid. I don't want to go as far as to say I enjoy coming to the dentist, but Dr. Rowe and his staff make my visits extremely pleasant. He is professional and clearly explains what he is doing, which helps me feel more at a ease. Also, he's a funny guy which helps :)

Hello I am new to Dr. Rowe's office. I was with my old dentist for 30 years. So it was very hard for me to find a new dentist. I picked him because my eye doctor said check him out she also goes to him. I did and I'm very happy I took her advise. I agree I love Dr. Rowe and his office staff. Just had my last appointment 11/28/17. If you are thinking of changing your dentist PICK DR. ROWE you will be glad you did.

I use to be afraid of dentists simply because I had the worse possible experience as a child. I come here not just because it is close to home, but the staff, the professionalism and dentistry is excellent. I have never had a bad experience here and makes it a joy (yes, a joy) to visit the dentist. If I need a referral for like a root canal or periodontal work, Dr. Rowe has referred excellent people to me. I hear horror stories about root canals and periodontal work...I'm very fortunate to not have any negative experience (and I am not exagerating). The dental hygenist is also excellent and thorough and super nice and is gentle on the gums...unless real deep cleaning is done...but that's not her fault. If you need a recommendation, please see Dr. Rowe and his staff.

I am new to Dr. Rowe's office. Their office staff is super nice and accommodating. Dr. Rowe is wonderful! He is very thorough with the examination, not to mention very skilled. I went back for a cleaning and fillings.

I've been going to Dr. Rowe for four years and the entire staff is personable and professional. My wife and I are grateful to have found Dr. Rowe.
