Annie's Cleaners

The woman who works here is friendly and professional. I've had good experiences, always fair prices, and she's even rejuvenated some silk pieces I have. I trust her with my vintage finds and have nothing but good things to say about the services!

However...I wish the hours online could be updated. Came here at 4:45 on a Friday only to find out it closed at 4:30 and online it said open til 7:00 I'll post a pic with hours posted on the storefront.

Super nice people. I take dry cleaning and do alterations here. Fast, affordable and great service. I live across town and still use them when downtown for work.

Catharine is wonderful. She is so organized, patient and professional, with a side of mama bear. My clothes come back on time and are perfectly cleaned. Her store is very close to my work, making it a total win! I always want to call her Annie!

The owners were helpful and took time to answer questions. We love supporting local, small businesses.

I'm always so worried that Annie's will close since the mega dry cleaner kitty corner did during the pandemic. Annie's is great! Reasonable prices, chill customer service & clothing ready on time! I haven't used them for alterations. One small low point: not open super long hours but as a small operation that's understandable.

What a great service, front desk & dry cleaning service. I turned in 27 shirts, got them back really quickly, and was perfectly pressed. I will definitely return and I suggest that you try them out!!!!

I have been going to Annie's for a few years now for alterations. Her prices are reasonable and affordable. I've had torn pockets on a jacket sewn back together. I had a tear in a bedsheet repaired effectively. I took her four pairs of new jeans the cuffs of which needed to be raised by half-an-inch. She altered all four pairs of jeans to exact specifications, and I never regretted a single repair or payment.

Her hours are fantastic and she's in the neighborhood, so her shop is very convenient for​ those who live either in the Tenderloin or lower Nob Hill.

There's one alteration​ist who lives closer to my neighborhood than Annie's. I once took a pair of jeans there to be repaired. She made me wait two weeks to get them back and when I arrived on the appointed day, she gave me back my jeans entirely unaltered, saying she didn't have the necessary thread or material to make the repairs.

Annie's return of your items is timely, within a few days at most, and I've never had issues with her being unable to do anything, although if there was something she could not do, I'm sure she will tell you upfront, not leave you hanging until the very end.

(When I refer to Annie, I'm referring to the woman or women behind the counter serving the in-coming customers.)

We started using Annie's for our laundry (fluff and fold) about 3 months ago. Her prices are very reasonable. Mostly I love the way our clothes come back. They're carefully, beautifully and neatly folded. We tried two other places before finding Annie's. Not every place took such good care of our things. We also take our drycleaning and pressed laundry to Annie's. She always does a great job. I highly recommend Annie's Cleaners.

Decent job, but seemed a bit pricier than most places, they charged me $3 a shirt, which is pretty high for some basic dry cleaning.

I think I'd check out some other cleaners. Though their work is good its a bit too pricey when you factor in the cost difference on 20 dress shirts.
