I called to make appointment for my husband. She'd asked us to be there 15 mins earlier to fill out paperwork. We got there on time but no one answered the door. Waited in the car for 10 minutes before we call her on phone. No answer, left a message. Disappointed because we took half day of work to see her. She could have called me and update me what's going on. We then had to find another doctor from yelp. Another doctor was kind to squeeze us in the last minute. She returned my call an hour later. I didn't care to answer.

I cannot Dr Men and Mr Liu at Annsheng Chinese Medicine enough! I've been under their care for scoliosis, sciatica, and eczema. The Chinese herbs Dr Men prescribed are incredible and I feel healthier taking herbs over the biologic injections my Western dermatologist prescribed. Injecting a biologic serum, Dupixent, into your body every two weeks for perpetuity cannot be that healthy.

I sleep like a baby during my acupuncture treatments with Dr Men. An hour on her patient's table is the equivalent of a good night's sleep. I awake rested mentally and physically.

Mr Liu is a miracle worker. He removes all tension from my body by working on the muscles that pull my spine into S-shaped scoliosis. His tui na massage releases all the pulling and straining that causes sciatica nerve pain and I leave his treatment pain free, and feeling like I'm walking taller because my muscles are no longer contorted. I sleep soundly and deeply on the nights following his treatment, my body is so relaxed.

Their office is on a cosy tree lined street in Alameda with parking in front and ample street parking. I cannot recommend Annsheng Chinese Medicine enough. When my former acupuncturist heard I was under their care, she exclaimed that Dr Men had been her mentor.

One of my friends had non-stop periods and no western doctors could stop it. After seeing Dr. Men, that was her first time the bleeding stopped and went back to a cycle.

I wanted to see Dr. Men for myself to see if she could help me notice anything health-related I am unaware of. She could tell I don't have good digestion. And it's true I had had several occasions of severe stomach ache and went to the ER once but western doctors just check for appendicitis and would send me back home with pain killers.

Dr. Men was able to pinpoint my digestion issues. She helped me understand that I wasn't allergic or intolerant of certain ingredients but certain ingredients are just harder to digest. The body would also react holistically based on a whole network of other triggers. My stomach never hurt after I followed her advice for me.

This wonderful Traditional Chinese Doctor has really helped me with treating my root cause of my health Issues..... without her , I will be Severely sick!

She is amazing. Helped me with very painful joint and carpal tunnel pain in the past that western medicine's answers was to give me insane painkillers. Her acupuncture skills healed me versus masking the pain. She knows what she is doing. Can't recommend her enough.

I have been seeing Dr. Men for months now and I cannot recommend her enough! I have been interested in traditional Chinese medicine for years now but never took it very serious. Dr. Men's acupuncture, herbal remedies, and especially her diet and lifestyle advice have completely transformed my health problems I have been struggling with for years. My cousin had referred us to Dr. Men because she had a wonderful experience due to getting Pregnant with her twice! My cousin had tried other routes and nothing stuck.

We were trying for over a year to no avail. When going to Kaiser, they told us that all tests showed that everything was normal, but my wife felt that something was slightly off.

I highly recommend Dr. Men as she knows what she's doing and has a proven track record of success and has a prior history as an OBGYN. We're excited and can't wait to be parents! Although the herbs may be not be so fun to drink, the end result is so worth it!

On June 30, after an hour long video mtg, I stood up and my right foot wasn't cooperating, I thought it was "asleep". After an hour, started worrying about a stroke. Headed to the ER, they ruled out stroke, diagnosed "foot drop", told me to see a neurologist, and sent me home. Could not get appt w neurologist for 3 weeks! Grateful to a friend who recommended Dr Men. He said, look, she is open, it is clean and safe, give it a try. I was skeptical at the first appt when she touched my calf/foot and said it was related to digestion. I was desperate for some relief (still couldn't lift front of foot after 12 days). Here we are 5 weeks later, still no visit with neurologist, and my foot is 95% better! Between the acupuncture, the Chinese Herbs, and some other dietary restrictions for digestion, Dr Men has been a true life saver.

I saw Dr. Men for about a year and a half and had amazing results. I was struggling with an autoimmune condition and hypothyroid and had incredible changes in my health during that time.

The very first day I saw her, Dr. Men suggested I stop taking my meds and supplements and I did...I was so excited that I could actually do that since good old Western medicine tells you if you do that you will have worse problems, including possible death. I felt liberated and for the first time ever felt that my health was actually in my own hands!

I know that people complain about having to take the herbs and adjust their diets, but in order to heal this is what has to happen, and it is a longer term commitment. I am no longer seeing Dr. Men because I moved across the country, but now I have been off herbs completely for the last two months and feel wonderful!

Go see Dr. Men if you are willing to start taking real responsibility for your health and well-being - she knows her stuff!

Dr. Men is a master of diagnosis. She kicks ass at prescribing & formulating Chinese herbs. Her needling technique is gentle and I always leave her treatments floating on a cloud of qi.

Her rates...well, you're paying for a very experienced licensed acupuncturist. Experience is worth the price tag, & Dr. Men, wisest of the wise, is always worth every dollar.
