Antone's Appliance

My dishwasher wasn't working - water not going into the machine. After self-diagnosing a faulty water inlet valve (based on what I googled) I called Antone's to see if they can come fix it. Thankfully, they're still on the job during the pandemic and I need my dishwasher to work! When their repairman called me, I told him what the issue was. Before he scheduled a service visit, he had me check another shut-off valve on the inside of the machine. Apparently things can get stuck on that valve, which prevents the machine from overfilling with water. I found a little piece of food under the valve which was causing the water to shut off. Problem solved! I really appreciate their repairman guiding me through this first. It saved me lots of money and time. The next time I need an appliance repair, I'm calling Antone's first!

Antone is a busy guy and that's the kind of business you'd want to support because clearly he's doing a great job to have as many customers as he does! After leaving a few frantic voicemails for him, he was able to return my call. The first thing he did was apologize for how busy he was. During the entire call he was extremely polite, patient, and understanding. I explained to him the issue I was having with my washer and he was able to diagnose the issue over the phone. After some searching, he gave me a rough price of the parts plus labor and then we discussed whether or not we should move forward. As I recently purchased the property and inherited the appliances within it, Antone explained to me how he's been there 3 times in the past already to service both the washer and dryer. At that point, with the money the previous owner already invested into repairs, it was clear my appliances were on their last legs and it would be a better investment to purchase brand new.

I concurred with Antone and we decided not to move forward with an appointment. From the conversation I had with him, Antone is the quintessential honest business man who lets his work speak for itself. I will be saving his contact info for the future.

Twice we've gotten great service, first on a new Maytag washer that has been absolutely amazing and later on a repair for our Kenmore dryer. We got great prices & excellent advice both times. When our washer broke, it was so old it just wasn't worth repairing. I'm so glad we found Antone's Appliance instead of heading straight for one of the big box stores. We got a great deal on a new washer that's not only more efficient but at least twice the size of our old one. When our dryer stopped running we knew just who to call, but this time it was a quick and easy fix. I think it's important to support local businesses, in addition to the relationships you build you pump money back into your local economy. Then when you need repairs, you know you'll get consistently great service and deals from someone you trust.

Robert took over the family business. He is a caring, patient and professional. I wish him the best, especially with his current personal affairs. I highly recommend Robert for all appliance needs.

I would recommend to be patient in the contact channels because I believe he is a one person operation, does not have a front office/customer support co-worker.

The combination of quick response, product knowledge and fair pricing for services and purchases cannot be beat.

It is hard to find a reputable and trustworthy appliance repair person these days. Many of those on the web are complete scams and often try to pretend they are factory authorized when they are not. Robert Antone has been providing us with equipment and service for over 20 years and I always can trust what he tells us. He does not upsell or tell you that a repair is needed if it is not. He has even helped us diagnose problems on the telephone. Hopefully, this review does not make him busier than he already is and make him too busy to respond to all who call him, but he really is excellent.

I usually write long reviews but on this one I do not want to lose emphasis of the quality of work and product Antone's Appliance provides.

As a small business, his responsiveness and attention far out-weigh these BIG BOX stores who care little about the consumer from the initial sales to the install. In fact, I dread going to these stores (who shall go nameless).

From the time I placed the call to delivery was less than a week. The whole process was flawless.

And he is a great guy, who operates his business with integrity and honesty.

You also appreciate the opportunity to know that your dollars are supporting small businesses of the caliber of Antone's Appliance.

Although he does not have a wide selection, that worked fine for me. I did my due diligence beforehand and found a dryer (Maytag to match my washer) that his store sells. And I am a happy camper. I also know that if I have a question, he is but a phone call away !

I forget how we found Robert; I'm sure he was recommended by a friend. He repaired our dryer first. He was prompt, professional, and very reasonable in price. After a period of time, the dryer gave up the ghost and was basically unfixable. We bought a new one from him. Again, prompt and professional service.

Robert did fabulous work. I'm so grateful to have found him. He has such a long honed knowledge from experience that he figured out what was wrong with my clothes washer in moments.
