APD Appliance Parts Distributor

I couldn't find the part number on my igniter. I called and they told me to come in and they would match it.
When I walked into the store, I was greeted by two people who helped me immediately. The price was cheaper than on line and they have a vast amount of inventory for several brands in stock.
I would highly recommend.

Best appliance store around! Over many years, I've gone there for assistance in repairing appliances at home, ordering parts and also purchased appliances from them. Brian is very helpful and so knowledgeable.

They don't accept returns when trying to trouble shoot a problem. I bought a part for a dishwasher. Hooked it up to my dishwasher and it didn't work. Took it off the dishwasher and tried to return it. They didn't accept returns on parts that are opened and brand new. I'm sticking to Amazon, same part was $15 and this place charges $44.00. Never will use them again.

A goto place for appliance repair parts. They carry pretty much anything you are looking for or they find it for you. The customer service is good. They identify the issue and recommend next step.
They also find parts for you and order them on your behalf. Price is reasonable and they are open 6 days per week

Our wall heater suddenly stopped working so I called many appliance repair companies on Yelp. Unfortunately, each one was giving me different diagnostic. One of the repair companies told me that If I purchase the valve, he will only charge me for the labor ($800). So, I went to Appliance Parts Distributor to purchase the heater valve.

I told the whole story to the gentleman at the counter. I asked for the valve and he told me the cost of valve which was much less than all online stores I checked earlier. Then he told me that prior to purchase, I should contact a plumber to diagnose the problem properly since the heater might need a different part or perhaps none.

I asked him if he knows someone and he provided me a local contractor phone #. I called the contractor (Alex) who came to our home and the issue was resolved in a few minutes without purchase of valve or replacing heater which other repair companies advised.

The reason I'm writing the whole story is that the gentleman at the counter could easily sold the expensive part (valve) to me but instead he wanted to help by given me a valuable advice. His honesty and integrity caught my attention.

My Whirlpool dishwasher was having an issue draining, and it was 7 years old. I called APD and ordered a new pump and motor assembly to replace the entire assembly. I wanted OEM parts made by Whirlpool to ensure quality, so APD was the way to go.

The new assembly came in a day later, and APD called me to let me know the part arrived. Surprisingly, the parts were Made in the USA! Excellent Quality. I dropped by, paid (the prices are very competitive), and I was able to fix my dishwasher.

I had a great DIY experience here. Brian was very helpful helping me diagnose my oven problem and suggesting a solution. He sent off the control panel for a rebuild and gaver me tips on installing it. All went great and my oven is upa nd running again. Excellent customer service and happy to have found this shop.

This is a long overdue review. I have been coming here for my parts for all my appliances. Great place with large catalog of parts with great helpful staff. this business is my go to for parts for a appliances when our need it quick. No shipping delay from Amazon! And no doubt if the parts you get is right for you. They will find out and let you know.

SO Helpful! I can't recommend them enough. I know some people have mentioned they can be put off cuz they're not overly friendly (obviously they're busy) but they are so thorough and responsive and will answer whatever questions you have. They make my job easier by working with them. Especially grateful for Brandon and Joe. Thank you for all you do!

Monday morning walked in at 10ish, I stood there waiting for the guy to call me up over the counter and I noticed he was sorting through a pile of junk mails instead of helping his customers but I wasn't in a hurry so I waited. When it was my turn I showed him the part I needed with the part number on my phone. First thing out of his mouth, we sell genuine GE parts and don't expect to pay that online price at my store, then he went on lecturing about appliances world uses model# instead of part # that I showed him.

I really didn't care, I just needed that part to fix my fridge on my day off otherwise I would have ordered it online. I understand the whole online vs store front price. So I said do you have the parts or not and how much?? He quoted me $60 for one of the two parts I was looking for, just for reference amazon had both parts for $18 shipped.
So I asked how much for the second parts I was looking for? He went back to the model # vs part #
and lecture again.

I just walked out and thanked him for his great service, wished him good luck with that genuine part while living in his appliances world!!

I could still hear him as I was walking toward my car, really? Did I sign up for a class?? Also did I ever ask for a price match?????

Poor customers service is one thing, insulting your customers is no way to conduct business in this era. I rather buy a new fridge or wait a few days from a online store to ever buy from this place.

I just noticed many others in here were treated the same way.
