Let me start by saying James saves the day again! I think anybody who needs appliance repair advice, should save themselves some time and start here at APED. Absolutely the best customer service and extremely knowledgeable personnel. They can help you determine if it's worth fixing, verses buying a new appliance.

This 5 star review is long overdue!
I have bought several misc appliance parts from this fine establishment over the last several years and they are ON TOP OF IT! Even during COVID shipment shenanigan season - they seem to have a magical relationship with reliable suppliers that got parts quickly which isn't as critical to me but it is for guests in our vacation rental!
Even when I flaked on picking a part up for an unreasonable amount of time they gracefully called me each week with a friendly reminder and welcomed me when I finally came in with my tail between my legs! I love this business and the people who work here!

Aped is our neighborhood appliance parts stop. That's the way it feels when you work with Aped. And it's been that way for decades! They haven't lost their longtime reputation despite the trend these days. Thanks for always being honest, friendly, and helpful!

James at APED provided exceptional service and helped us get our dryer up and running in the same day. He took the time to explain which parts to bring to be tested, as well as videos to help us install the new parts. I highly recommend them!

I've been using APED near 20 years now with consistent, excellent service exactly as described in every single review here. Even the basement,"Not Recommended" sections filled with 29 five star reviews and 3 four star.

Those three 4-star reviews are also excellent, with statements like "Just picked up a part and some advice today, and dryer is working great. Thanks guys" and "big help saved me $$$$". Why guys? Why would you walk away from a business with such excellent service that you're inspired to tell the world about it, and then punish them with lesser ratings than all the others, thereby dragging their overall rating down?

I'm going in there in an hour for an oven igniter I am confident they will have the factory, dirict-fit part in stock at a price that's half what I already know a local big box warehouse store sells a unilversal piece for. If you can find a staff member that knows what it is and can show you where it's at, that is.

No thanks, I'm going back to APED, where my local friends and neighbors work and are always happy to turn my amateur attempt to diagnostics and repairs into big victories for me.

So yep, that gets another five star review from me. You other dudes should consider upping yours to the five Star level APED consistently earns and deserves.

I thought my old furnace was ready for cold weather after changing filters and a general cleaning and it was for a couple of weeks. Then suddenly one morning. . . No heat. The local HVAC services were booked out at least 10 days for service calls so I thought I would try to troubleshoot it myself. After a lot of time on YouTube I ended up at APED and spoke to James. After a few trips back-and-forth between my home and the shop, taking pictures of components, James was able to hook me up with the right part to complete the repair. Thanks to James my family was warm that night instead of at least 10 nights later

I called ten minutes to closing on a Friday night. James took the time to search for a part for me with a helpful and friendly manner. Even though it was discontinued, he even checked out ebay to see if it was there. I have to get a new appliance, but I just wanted to shout out that the service was fantastic. Thanks for validating my own internet findings so I could let go of the wild goose chase! If I ever need this place in the future, they will be first choice!

Have to extend a thank you and recommend The great people at Aped Appliance. My oven stopped heating up. Due to Covid concerns, I decided to try and fix it myself. Went online and found the probable cause was the bake igniter. Sears along with many, many other online "super parts stores" did not have the correct part. Apex was recommended to me by a local repair shop. Called, they had the part. They guided me through the process while at the store (for free)! They gave me a lot of confidence that it was a repair and average "weekend warrior" could DIY. The installation went exactly how they described and the oven works better now (heats up faster than it ever did). These guys are awesome! Stay local and trust the people good people at Aped! If you need appliance parts, there is no good reason why you would go anywhere else. They have been a source of parts for my equipment repair adventures since the early 1980s. They have only improved their service over the years. Big thanks to all the folks at APED!
