Aperture Apartments

I had to make a yelp account, just to write this review! Also, it looked like my review was not showing so I had to re-write it. (My apologies, I am new to yelp). It is very important to my wife and I that the word gets out, because honestly Aperture may very well be one of the best apartment leasing businesses out there.

I feel like reviews like that make the renting environment more competitive which hurts us as tenants. Yet, the Aperture team is so good, they deserve it and they need to be rewarded! Everything I read from other reviewers is true and then some.

My wife and I, recently moved to Aperture Apartments and our experience has been nothing short of stellar so far. The three main employees (in alphabetical order) Melanie, Miguel and Oscar are beyond phenomenal.

First, we had the pleasure to meet Miguel, who was incredibly accommodating throughout. Our situation was rather complex and anxiety inducing with fixed deadlines and restrictions (imposed to us by our new working environment) but Miguel streamlined the whole process making it extremely easy. Needless to say, everything was as described. On top of that, Miguel went out of his way to make sure that our initial relocation was as pleasant as possible, even after we signed the contract! This is a clear sign of someone who genuinely cares.

Then we met Melanie. Despite the fact that she just started working here (which we wouldn't have realized if she didn't tell us btw), she is already a wealth of information and useful tips of all things Aperture. Especially during the first week, when she very patiently answered all of our questions, addressed all of our concerned and even made useful suggestions for the future. There doesn't seem to ever be a challenge that fazes her. And this is also true for everyone in the building. It is very nice to see active management who genuinely cares about the tenants and their needs.

Finally, we met Oscar, the technician. To say he is a perfectionist is an understatement. He is so good and methodical at what he does, he will never quit unless it's perfect. Fortunately, our unit needed little work, but for the few touch ups required, he absolutely nailed it! As someone who has dealt with a lot of handy men in the past, I can say with confidence, he is one of the best!

All in all, this is an unbeatable trio, that makes the building what it is. I really hope the powers that be realize what a goldmine of employees they have in their hands.

Good professionals are extremely hard to come by and getting a hat-trick of three in a row is even rarer. We feel blessed!

I had a great time at Aperture, and wanted to give big kudos to Miguel, our property manager, and Oscar, our maintenance guy. Both of them are hecka friendly and eager to help out wherever they can and VERY prompt. I appreciate Miguel's patience, and I felt very well looked after during my year and a half here.

For the building, my housemates and I stayed in a 3 bedroom, and there was definitely space for everyone. The high vaulted ceilings in the larger apartments were really nice and gave the living area a lot of space.

Just moved out of Aperture and boy do we miss it. This place has a great team and Miguel is the best property manager I've had across many different apartments I've lived in all over the bay.

Location is awesome and near many great food spots. The parking situation is perfect if you have an EV and the club house, gym and outdoor bbq area is always kept clean and ready for use. I would highly recommend and anyone looking to check out Aperture if you're looking for a great place to live.

Really sad we wont get to see the San Bruno community center being built but the walk from Aperture to the San Bruno park is short and easy and you can even go on a hike through the Junipero Serra park. I missing this place more and more as I'm typing this.

Would not recommend this apartment. The lady at the office is very rude! Can't imagine dealing with her if I was to live there.

We cannot say enough good things about the Aperture! The facilities are amazing, from a beautiful lounge with a big screen tv, billiards and free coffee machine :) to a gorgeous courtyard with a high end grill, fire pit and picnic table to an amazing gym with a great assortment of equipment and even a heavy bag! They really have thought of everything, there's even a water machine. The location is also phenomenal. We loved walking down the Avenue and trying all the different restaurants. It's super close to 280 and 101 and 5 minutes from the airport. It honestly could not be more convenient. Best of all though, the property manager Miguel and maintenance manager Oscar are the very best. They go above and beyond to make their residents feel at home and welcome. The grounds and units are in impeccable shape. They even host resident get togethers every few months with food and drinks, so you can get to know other people in the community! We were here for 7 months while our home was being remodeled and it far exceeded our expectations. We really loved our time here.

This place is amazing they help you so much Miguel is amazing a manager he will be there for you even on the weekends they make you feel like home I have been moved so many times the past years but this place feels like home to the heart staying here it's amazing it's priceless have a amazing home to sleep in . Love it
