I had a great experience with this store, particularly with an outstanding employee named Kevin. I needed a small part in order to get my washing machine to work. I had just missed the 5 pm closing time at an appliance parts store in Berkeley. Standing outside the Berkeley appliance parts store, I called APD and explained my plight. They were slated to close at 5:30 and it was clear I wouldn't be able to make it from Berkeley to San Leandro in time. Out of the kindness of his heart, Kevin offered to DELIVER ME THE PART in Berkeley so that I could have a working washing machine. This was a hugely generous act. Kevin went above and beyond what I could ever have expected of an appliance parts store. If this behavior is representative of this store, then these guys deserve TEN stars. Thank you, Kevin for your thoughtfulness and problem solving.

My gas dryer died and I was worried we'd need to get a whole new machine. A friend came over and we followed a YouTube video and took the dryer apart, tested a few components, and found that the heating element had died. The woman on the phone / behind the counter was really nice and was able to help us get the right part, and my friend and I came back and replaced it and had a working dryer that afternoon.

APD is exactly the kind of local store that I love having in the community. When our dryer finally does go, we'll absolutely order a new one from here instead of a big box store.

Waaaay too expensive for what I was looking for!! With that being said, if you need a part for an appliance they will probably have it!

Can't say enough about the kind and caring assistance we received from Tonya at Appliance Parts Distributor! She was completely knowledgeable in troubleshooting the problem with our Kenmore dryer. Because of her know how we were out the door at $11.72!! Thank you Tonya!!!

Appliance Parts Distributors are the absolute best appliance appliance vendor in the Bay Area! I work as a property manager and often do business with them. Grant & APD are great. My clothes dryer stopped heating. Grant helped me understand which parts may have failed, helped me with tests for diagnosis & helped with repair approaches & buying the correct required parts. I'm also happy with the quality of the parts & pricing. Thank you Grant & APD!

I have been using APD for over 20 years. They always go above and beyond for me and my team. I always get great pricing, delivery and takeaways. They also help guide me to appliances that break down less often. Lots of companies have tried to get my business over the years, but it's hard to replace the trust we have built.

I had some questions about parts the other day and the guys here went above and beyond to help me with my questions. The guys who works behind the desk is awesome. I can't say nothing but good things about this place

I've been coming here for a few years now, and most recently as last week.

The staff at APD are awesome. Sam, Grant, Joe, all of them are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to parts & new appliances.

People spend a lot of wasted time going to Home Depot and Lowe's and get terrible service as the employees there typically have no clue what they're talking about when it comes to appliances and parts.

This is also the store to go to for parts as they have access to those items way more than anyone else.

They will also deliver your appliances you buy as well.

This is the place that have the parts that the big box stores either always are out of or never stock in the first place. The staff is very helpful, you call them and say your on your way they will hold an item for you. Many things are in short supply and it's first come first served. Why not by the identical part that you need instead of the universal low quality one at Home Depot? Set it and forget it!!
