Appliance Repair Heroes

If I had a choice, I would not have selected this contractor to fix my dishwasher, but I had no choice because I had their services via the warranty company.
I received an email from the warranty company saying that someone from Appliance Repair Heroes will contact me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment, but I did not hear from them. So, I called them, but their recorded message did not have an option to talk to a person. Then, a couple of days later, the technician called me to notify me that he was coming on that day. When he came to my place, I was in the middle of the online meeting. He needed to order some parts, but I could not communicate with him because I was in the meeting, and I could not ask when the parts will be available.
Since then, I did not hear from him for a couple of weeks. I kept calling them and emailing them, but no response. I also kept calling the warranty company and finally was able to know when the parts were arriving.
Finally, the issue was fixed. But it took almost one month since I filed a claim to the warranty company. Fortunately, my household is small and handwashing the dishes was not a big trouble. But poor communication with this contractor was so frustrating.

Technician called me that he is on the way! I didnt have any service scheduled. No call , text or email. Im doing errands so im cancelling my errands to wait again.
Tech text me again if i uninstalled my oven. Its a wall oven and i need to uninstall it. We only got this company thru insurance! Pls dont get their service!! Our oven issue is almost 2 years. And been got almost 4 service centers and all is really bad!!! i think appliance insurances is getting the worst service providers!!!

Awful, Awful, Awful.

Been waiting weeks for a visit. (This is the only service company offered by the extended warrenty I bought from Airport Appliance in Emeryville.

Impossible to contact them by phone, text, or email. I waited 1 hour on the phone waiting for them to pick up.

Tomorrow I am driving to their listed address in person to see if I can get some response from them.

My warranty company contacted them
April 9 to replace a knob on my cooktop. They couldn't come until the 18th and when he showed up he didn't bring the knob. I was rescheduled for May 4 but again repairman didn't have the knob. Was rescheduled for 5/16 and the repair man didn't show up. When you call you get a recording no one returns the calls. I finally got a text saying he was running behind and they wanted to reschedule again. I told them no and they didn't even have the courtesy to answer me. Who knows if and when I will get the knob. This is the worst experience ever and I don't recommend this company.

Pretty, pretty, pretty bad from beginning to end although I have yet to arrive at the end which would be a working refrigerator that was under a 5 year warranty.

If I could give negative stars I would. They make appointments and do not show up. Trash business

I contacted this company for service on a dryer. On my first call with them, we were able to schedule a service call for the next day. On the service visit, the tech suggested that a control board needed to be replaced. We were ok with that. To that point, every interaction with the company seemed to go relatively well.

After a couple weeks, I called for an update on the part -- the lady on the phone put me on hold, and after over an hour on hold I figured she wasn't coming back as their business was now closed for the day. Called back the next day and left a message -- no response. Emailed for updates-- no response. I persistebtly tried contacting them for a month with no luck. Frustrated with the lack of communication, I reached out to another company.

The other company came out the next day, was able to promptly diagnose and fix the issue without needing order or replace anything.

So to sum up, instead of Heroes, this company should be renamed Villians. All they seem to do is waste everyone's time and money. Learn from my mistake and all the other reviewers and go somewhere else for your appliance repair needs. Even if this is where the manufacturer sends you for your warranty repair, go elsewhere.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was referred to this company by my appliance warranty company. After two technicians failed to repair my appliance, they did not show up on the third appointment. I have called, emailed, and text messaged them with no response. On the off chance that a representative answers a phone call, they hear me out, put me on hold for about 20 minutes, and the line gets disconnected. I immediately called back and never reached a representative again. They have never called me in response to any of my messages.

For a uniquely awful, and I mean miserable customer service experience, check these guys out. They dont pick up the phone, the don't return messages, and don't respond to texts. They treat customers like they don't matter. Far from heroes, these are Appliance Repair Villians!!!
