I was referred to Appliance Worx by a close friend when my Viking Built-In Refrigerator started leaking water. From the moment I called, I was greeted by a wonderfully polite and helpful woman who promptly scheduled an appointment for me. Remarkably, they were able to accommodate me quickly.

The day before the scheduled appointment, I received a reassuring email confirming the time. The next morning, I got a call informing me that the technician, Damion, was en route. True to their word, he arrived promptly and got straight to work.

Damion's demeanor was impeccable - he was friendly, courteous, and exuded professionalism. It was evident that he possessed a deep understanding of his craft as he swiftly diagnosed and resolved the issue. Not only did he fix the problem efficiently, but he also left the area spotless.

The total cost for the repairs was more than fair, leaving me thoroughly impressed with the value provided. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of pure satisfaction.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Appliance Worx for their exceptional service and commend Damion for his outstanding workmanship. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Appliance Worx for all your appliance needs.

I filled out a request for service overnight and woke up to a voicemail the next morning. They gave me a quote and were able to schedule me 48 hours later for a non-emergency repair . The technician arrived right on time. He was friendly and explained everything so we could make informed decisions. Our washer was beyond worth repairing for the age, so we were still left on the market for a new washer, but at least I know exactly what caused ours to die, lol. The cost of the visit was totally reasonable. We'd definitely call them again,

The tech is great. Very happy with his service. The office is the weak spot for me. Communications with the customer by the office is spotty.

Samsung washing machine refused to do its job; not even pretending to do its job, the ghastly silence after hitting the 'wash' button was frustrating. The technician Peter (name is a somewhat vague recollection) supplied by Appliance Worx, made quick work of removing the skin of the washer down to its guts to diagnose the washer's illness. I was fairly convinced that the water pump (or whatever it is called in a clothes washer) had failed. Peter determined that it was the impeller (reverse of a propeller, moves the water OUT of the washer) which had encountered and chewed on a combo of rubber bands and hair (? cat) which lodged in its craw and paralyzed it. Likely, a cat toy from the occupants and their feline friends. I appreciated the fact that the technician COULD HAVE easily hoodwinked me into paying for a water pump replacement (2x+ the repair bill) , but instead took the honest path and cleared the obstruction then quickly and expertly reassembling the disemboweled washer

Professional, personable, and great with time!

I left a very positive 5 star review over a year ago based on our experience with two repairs (dishwasher and dryer). I had a substantially different customer service experience recently with a microwave issue. The problem was immediately apparent to the technician and two parts were needed. My bad experience involved the following:

I was erroneously told one part was unavailable and this meant the appliance could not be repaired. However, I discovered the part could be purchased from the manufacturer. When I communicated this 'good news' to Appliance Worx, I learned they only source parts from certain vendors. The office manager expressed unprofessional skepticism that the part could be had, but if I did manage to find, they would install with no warranty (since the part was not bought from their vendor). I found this an odd policy given I was going to buy the part from the manufacturer.

The price I was quoted for installing the two parts (one sourced by me and the other I saw online for $75) was at least $500 and possibly $650 (I could not get clarification on how my service call fee of $150 was being credited). Moreover Appliance Worx would not breakdown the estimate into its component parts (eg parts and labor).

In the end we (novice homeowners) repaired it ourselves in about 1.5 hours. Thus I find the quoted repair price excessive.

So, while we are indebted to Appliance Worx for an accurate diagnosis, if we had followed their initial assessment, we would have thrown away a repairable appliance. And if we had engaged them to do the work, I feel we would substantially overpaid (given how easy it was for us to install the parts ).

So, I recommend to approach engaging them with caution, and consider getting a second estimate for costly work (or before discarding an appliance).

I totally understand. The problem here is that I gave you guys all the information and I didn't know the extra fees until after the Tech checked the second appliance and like I told the lady in the office, if I had known this ahead of time the only appliance I would've had him check was the DCS because that's the one that really needs the gasket to be replaced. So she asked me if I wanted to repair the DCS and I said yes and she gave me the price so I asked her does the money I already paid, does it go towards the repair and she said she would call me back and I still haven't heard back from you guys. Let me know.

Contacted this group through American Home Shield for a microwave repair. They gave me a 4 hour window in which they were going to show up. After three hours and forty minutes, they call to say they'll be here in 15 - and never show up.

I call the next day, and they say they did show up. Which is a lie. I was here the entire time - and because our neighbor has an address that looks similar to ours, frequently went outside to check since I knew when they were "supposed" to come. They say they can send someone out again, but guess what, another four hour window. I request a specific time and... no. How about a two hour window? No. Can I speak to a supervisor? "I AM THE SUPERVISOR". Can I speak to who you report to? Put on hold. Long hold. They come back and say, "he went to the right address". I say, no, he didn't - and they say "I'm not arguing with you. Four hour window or go somewhere else."

So they:
A. Waste your time
B. Lie
C. Don't take responsibility
D. Are rude AF

If I could give zero stars, I would. Completely unacceptable.

I had given up on fisning a local appliance repair person but someone recommended Appliance Worx. The tech came out within a couple of days and was able to replace our refrigerator ice maker and unblock some drain tubes. Super happy we have ice again!
