I have used Appliances Juarez on a number of previous occasions.
AJ seems to know how to repair just about any appliance.
AJ also did a nice job with the installation of a new Bosch dishwasher
18 mos ago, and the appliance has remained problem-free.
This time I needed AJ to repair the venting from an electric dryer.
AJ typically shows up within 24-48 hours - a real
convenience. They know what they are doing and work
speedily. AJ cleaned the metal duct work, installed
flexible venting, and had the dryer working again within
30 minutes. This is quality service provided by courteous
service people.
AJ's fees are reasonable, but certainly not inexpensive.
Still, the fee for the duct work repair was $195.
I may be wrong, but this fee seems on the high side.
On the one hand, AJ does quality work - in a minimum of
time. And their response time to a service request is
certainly way above average. AJ is based in Sonoma
County and I live in Marin; it is not a ten-minute drive
for the service call. So I am NOT saying they charge
a lot for shoddy work. Still, $195 for a 30 minute repair
and $10-12 in parts.
In the end, I really like AJ and I would call them again.
Other customers might feel differently.

Oh no 0May 31, 2021Previous reviewWe called Appliance Juarez based upon the large numbers
of very positive Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed.
(Our Kenmore washer became increasingly dysfunctional and
noisy. The dishwasher died many months ago - early in the
pandemic. I thought I left a review of AJ, but when I looked
at my Reviews (the other day) I could not find it. AJ deserved
a review; now, a year later, I will offer one.)
AJ came to the house - fully masked - within 48 hours of our
call. AJ did a lengthy diagnostic assessment to pinpoint the
origin of the problem. In the end, they determined that the
computer panel required replacement. They advised that
the cost of repair would be substantial and recommended
replacement - if possible - of the dishwasher. We took their
advice (and specific recommendation) and ordered a Bosch
dishwasher.
The day after the new dishwasher arrived, AJ returned to do
the installation. It was a s/w difficult installation due to
limited space under our kitchen island. Despite the extra time
required, AJ charged their typical installation fee. (Thank You!)
AJ completed the installation and carted away the old one -
to recycle the usable parts.
AJ's service was both courteous and friendly. In regard to
dishwashers, they certainly know what they are doing.
AJ was exceedingly prompt in response to our service
calls. As noted, there were no additional fees - despite the
additional time required for a complicated installation.
It was pleasure doing business with them.
A year later, the unusual quiet Bosch dishwasher works
flawlessly. AJ's recommendation was spot on.

Someone showed up within the window of time specified and was able to quickly identify the problem. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and was patient enough to answer all my questions. Turns out the freezer had an insane amount of ice buildup behind the interior panel (not visible from the outside) and it was interfering with its ability to cool. It was $95 for the visit and $95 to disassemble the back panel inside and de-ice the entire system. It was worth every penny (There was A LOT OF ICE). Freeze works like new! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely call back for future repairs!

Very professional. Great Communication and most importantly showed up on time. He came out and knew exactly what was wrong with my oven. I thought we would be down without an oven for a long time waiting for parts. But his industry knowledge got everything Fixed within half an hour. Thank you

It took Juan less than 10 minutes to diagnose the problem (impeller pump), and, to our surprise, he even had a replacement pump in his truck. He installed it and our dishwasher problems were gone in less than an hour from his arrival.
He's bilingual in English and Spanish. His English is so good that I assume he's American-born (NOTE: not intended to insult hard-working immigrants). He's highly intelligent and has a great personality.

Juan was great! A glass broke in our dishwasher and we were having trouble cleaning it out. He came over the same day and fixed everything for us. Will definitely call him again for any appliance repair!

My dryer broke this morning and he literally had my dryer up and running three hours from the time that I texted him. I was so worried that I was going to have to buy a brand new dryer, and was so relieved to find out it just needed a small part that he had available on his truck. He was so nice, communicative, and even automatically took his shoes off when he entered my house. His price was super reasonable.
