Aqua Lab Aquaria

This place is the best! I have just recently taken up aquascaping and decided to check Aqua Lab out due to their exceptional yelp reviews. One thing is for sure, they lived up to those reviews!! Their customer service is outstanding!

Told Kent that it was my first time with this hobby and he was patient and very helpful with providing all the information and what kind of supplies I would need. He wasn't pushy in trying to sell the more expensive stuff, instead, he listed out all the options with different price range (gave me a good price for the co2 indicator+ liquid too!) and to top it off, even threw in a few different beginner plants for free to start out with!
The wonderful customer service didn't just start and end in the store. He answered all my aquarium related questions over facebook messenger (https://www.facebook.com/aqualabaquaria/) with fast replies even at 3am! Reason why he was awake replying questions at that time ? His reply: "I eat, breathe, and answer aquarium related questions in my dreams. :)"

Not only Kent but Perry and David top the customer service ice cream off with a cherry on top. They both were friendly and knowledgeable with a wonderful attitude when I returned to get my water tested and buy some shrimps/fishes. For some unknown reason, my tank's phosphate level reading was high but instead of just telling me to do more water changes and leaving me with that reading, Perry offered to retest it later and text me the results. Within an hour he texted me saying that the first reading was a false alarm and that the levels were all good. Thanks for the follow up Perry!

I highly recommend this place and will definitely go to for my aquarium needs. Tempted to start a reef tank....

Knowledgeable staff. Helped me pick out some plants without upselling me. If this first batch doesn't work, I'll definitely be back as I know it's a hit or miss when establishing a new aquarium.

really nice guy, I can tell the owner has a lot of care about his hobby and his shop. The only bummer I would say is that the shop isn't always open during the week I think it's more of a side job for him. And there's not many saltwater selection, but when he gets them fresh, and there's always great deals

I'm new to the aquarium hobby and recently started my first freshwater tank. Every time I've ever had any questions about my tank or possible future fishy friends, this is my go-to aquarium store to get advice. I have a new pond snail issue that they had no problem helping me get through and gave me multiple options on how to address the issue. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they were always prepared for any type of question that I had! Definitely recommend this place for fish enthusiasts, especially beginners like myself :)

Ever since the new owners took over the shop has thrived a lil small but great people and knowledgeable a must go to spot for all your car needs had my transmission fixed here . Was full of salt water but Greg is a great fish connoisseur.

I am a novice fishkeeper, and was looking to set up a planted aquarium for the first time. I was surprised that there weren't many aquarium specialty stores in the area (I don't consider Petco or Petsmart aquarium stores, although they do carry a fair bit of stuff). What I was looking for was the expertise and advice.
Well, I found what I was looking for at Aqua Lab Aquaria. I spent some time talking with Kent, and he helped explain some of the bio concepts and requirements for a new planted tank. I browsed their ample selection of plants, rocks, woods and decorations, as well as their variety of fish.

I'm just getting my substrate and hardscape set up with some gravel, aquasoil, sand, rocks and wood - and once I get things running, I'll be back for my plants and eventually, my scaly residents.

The help and advice from Kent were just as valuable as all the hours I've spent watching YouTube vids, and I highly recommend both to any new aquarist.

Kent has really help me and my boyfriend out. My boyfriend almost quit the hobby until we stumbled across ALA. We highly recommend him over the other stores in the area and only give him our business. Thank you Kent for all of your help!

I've been coming here for almost a decade. Kent helped me pre-baby with two two large tanks with decor and more. You can't do better...

I stepped away from the hobby after my daughter was born but I recently brought her in with me and she started her own tank with Kent's help. You can't find this kind of customer service. Ignore the haters.

Happened by here because another LFS was closed and boy I couldn't be happier. I was throughly impressed with their selection of freshwater plants, equipment, customer service, and their beautiful display tanks.

I was originally looking for some freshwater plants but couldn't resist buying some coral frags while I was there. My new GSP colony opened up quickly and looks healthy and great!

Would recommend to anyone looking for a cool freshwater & marine fish shop!

Good service and great prices.

You would think that after being somewhat local the order would at least come at a decent time. This is what $34 worth of plants gets you and even more so, one of them isn't even the correct plant. Package was leaking with brown Water and almost all of the plants were absolutely destroyed. After being a customer for so many years I am severely disappointed at what came in today.

An absolute shame.
