Artisan was recommended by my neighbor who we share references.
Artisan provided us with an estimate for a new heater and AC unit. Initially scheduled a month out but was able to pull in by two weeks! Ramsey and his colleagues were both timely, courteous, friendly and professional. The initial estimate we had highlighted improvements to existing snd set up. These were all executed by Ramsey and colleague. Price was per estimate given. By the way, estimate just slightly more than an estimate I had from another HVAC company but Artisan highlighted efficiencies and correction from original builder.
Very happy with work done by Artisan and highly recommend them. AC is fantastic and first bill was shockingly low compared to old system I had. Very happy indeed!

It's a rare pleasure to find a company managed by a highly experienced owner who truly cares about the work they do and has a top notch team to get the job done to the highest level. We installed a state of the art fuel pump system with two zones, both with hospital level HEPA air filtration added for when there is smoke in the air. We have a 1930's home with very small crawl spaces which made this project very complicated. We also didn't want to see any of the typical heat pump units in our house. Artisan needed to run duct work throughout the house. Other highly recommended competitors said "it can't be done". Well, Artisan showed that not only can it be done but they did it seamlessly. Also, the little things, they carefully prepared the house each morning and wore booties and went the extra mile to make sure everything was done at the highest level. They also did all the permitting and paperwork to allow us to claim rebates for the work done which is helping offset the initial cost. They also texted us everything morning to confirm their ETA. In short, they did everything to make this the best possible experience for us. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Artisan Air Heating and Cooling.

Another 5-star experience to add to the list! It's not very often you can say that you actually enjoyed having work done at your home, but that was the case with Cody and team.

From the initial proposal, Cody was thorough and very patient, taking the time to answer all my (many) questions to make sure I was comfortable with the plan. Work started and was completed on time, and the entire team was friendly and incredibly respectful...they called every morning to let me know they were on their way, and checked in with me consistently to keep me updated. I'm very happy with the work, and the HERS testing technician even commented that the work was very well done. Highly recommend Artisan!

Ramsey was referred by a friend....he was prompt, honest and had great customer service rate qualities these days in a lot of industries. Definitely gained a long time customer!

I called on Monday to request an appointment. I spoke to Cody. He told me the next available appointment was Fri. I wasn't in a hurry so agreed. He said he'd call if anything opened up. He called back later the same day and offered a Tuesday morning appt due to a cancelation. I accepted.

Ed came and he was really nice and professional. He introduced himself at the door. He diagnosed the issue, explained it to me with pictures and quoted me a price to replace the zone control board to get my heater working again. The part needed to be ordered. I was thinking it would take a few days, but Ed told me he'd be back the next day, Wednesday afternoon, with the part. He actually came sooner than my appt time. He texted me first to tell me.

This company has great customer service, and Ed knows his HVAC stuff! He had to look at everything to determine the issue, and he found it and fixed it. Ed was polite and efficient, and I appreciate that when a stranger is coming into my home.

Cost was fair and reasonable.

On the hottest day of the year in 2024 when temperatures are scheduled to reach 110° in Dublin, I called Cody, he picked up the phone right away and came over my house in an hour. Problem solved. Super honest, super professional fair cost, and I couldn't be happier. He did a fantastic job of fixing my AC.

After getting confused and overwhelmed by a wide range of quotes from 7 other vendors, I found artisan air on the BayRen website and called for a quote. I wanted a higher efficiency furnace and cleaner air than my 1984 furnace provided, but was not willing to commit to more expensive and complicated heat pump systems and costly duct replacement.

Artisan air owner, Cody, spent considerable time answering all of my questions. cody suggested a 96% efficiency unit that qualifies for a federal efficiency rebate at a reasonable cost. Cody also suggested an affordable uv light air scrubber and a high efficiency 5" filter. exposed duct work was sealed and re-insulated to reduce air leakage. work was done timely at a reasonable cost. I could not be happier with the new system, especially the improved air quality.

Quote clearly spelled out equipment, work to be performed, and equipment and labor warranties. first year service visit is also included in cost. work was timely and efficient, and communication was great. I am happy that I found a company that I can rely on for any future hvac needs.

My wife and I own some rental properties in Hayward and Castro Valley. I first worked with Artisan Air Heating and Cooling in Jan. 2019 to install a new wall furnace. At first, the work didn't pass inspection but Artisan came back to address the issue by working with the building inspector to resolve it. I got to know Cody and his team then, and have come to use them more than a few times in several other units since 2019. I like working with Cody and his team because they do a good job and can be trusted to give me an honest assessment of the issue and scope of work with reasonable pricing. We will continue to rely on Artisan Air Heating and Cooling for our HVAC maintenance and repair needs.

I had my heater cleaned and serviced just in time for the cold part of winter. The technician was on time and did a wonderful job. He was professional and respectful since I was in my home office working. I will keep using Artisan Air!
