Having a broken faucet in your kitchen makes you realize just how important having running water is.
I called Rob from Astoria Plumbers and explained my situation and sent him a photo of my broken faucet. He quoted a very reasonable price and made an appointment. He called me five minutes before the scheduled time just to notify me that he was on his way and within 30 minutes, I had a working faucet again.
I would've been completely satisfied with a generic kitchen faucet but Rob actually installed one with an extendable hose that could spray water in addition to having it just run. So for the price I paid expecting a replacement, Rob gave me an upgrade. I couldn't be more grateful.
From the initial phone call to the completion of the job, Rob was pleasant, considerate and professional throughout. There is genuine integrity in the work that he does. That's a value that is hard to quantify.
Simply put, Rob is the man.

I bought my house a few 3 years ago but the house was built in the 1960s. The house still had the original outdoor faucet. It was green and corroded. I called this company up and responses time was amazing. He is very knowledgeable on what he is doing. Came prepared to tackle the two old faucets and succeeded. This company is definitely one that you have to keep on your phone.

My kitchen faucet was leaking so I decided to replace it. The first plumbing company I called quoted me a crazy price and said it would take 5 hours to replace. I called Rob and his price was very reasonable and said it would only take a couple of hours. He showed up on-time, was thorough, and explained everything he was doing. Also a very nice, down to earth person. Everything was setup perfectly. Rob would definitely be my top call if I have any plumbing issues again.

We've had a number of different contractors through who tried & failed to resolve an issue with the drainage line of our AC unit. The wall unit runs for a while but then water begins pouring out of the front of the unit, down the wall :( My wife found Rob, noting he was British (as am I) on here so we gave him a call. He answered my call immediately and we booked in a time within 48 hours for him to come round. It took about 5 minutes for Rob to diagnose the root cause of the issue, namely that an incredibly narrow (not up to code) hose was used for the last portion of the drainage line which had become clogged and backed up. He drained the water, switched out the hose for a code suitable diameter and we are back in business, just in time for the heatwave. Lovely chap, experienced plumber. Would highly recommend!! Astoria needs more contractors like Rob!

Fast, professional and affordable. It was an effortless experience. I am so thankful for this company. Came and repaired my dumb "drain cleaner" mistake quickly and for a reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend them! I will use them again but am really hoping I don't have to do so. No more drain cleaner for me!!

We needed to replace our kitchen faucet and found Rob via Yelp based off of all of these 5-star reviews. He was extremely easy to communicate with, quoted us a fair price, and came to install it within the week. The new faucet looks and works great! Would recommend him without question in the future -- a great find!

Very happy with my experience. I received a quick and clear estimate for the work, with no ambiguity into when service was available. When Rob arrived, he got down to work, fixed the problem, and made sure everything was clean and organized on his way out. Simple, friendly service and I was appreciative of how easy it all was.
