Ato Sushi Bar Kitchen

We were in the area and decided to have sushi today. I googled and noticed the high review of Ato Sushi Bar. I decided to order the Ato Deluxe Bento. B got the following: Miso, Gomae, Chicken Karage and spicy salmon sashimi.

Portion size was good. This restaurant is ran by Korean. Their sushi was super fresh. I tried a bit of the gomae and I really liked the flavor. My bento box came with the following Sashimi, Oshi Sushi, Tempura, Miso soup, Sunomono, and Chicken Teriyaki. I really liked the sunomono. It was definitely a stomach opener.
The Oishi Sushi was my favorite. It melted in my mouth. The sashimi was fresh. Tempura had a nice crispy batter. I did find it somewhat heavy on the batter though. The chicken teriyaki was good but definitely not wow. I liked how it was not drenched in sauce like some places.

There are plenty of parking out front. I have to say this place was definitely one of the better sushi places in Surrey. Service was good. I would appreciated it, that they bought my sunomono and my miso soup the same time they bought the gomae and miso soup to B. I ended up watching him eat during the first half of dinner.

Overall good food and I will definitely come back again another time.

I wanted oshi for dinner and have been meaning to try this restaurant for some time. We finally made our way here for dinner over the weekend. We were seated right away. Tea and water were dropped off. There was a QR code to view the menu. We ended up ordering salmon oshi, scallop oshi, sashimi salad, OMG roll, beef udon, CSA sashimi, hotate nigiri, and red tuna toro nigiri.

It was a bit of a wait for the food to arrive. The restaurant was busy with take out orders. When the food finally arrived, everything was nicely presented. The salmon and scallop oshi were packed with flavour. The nigiris were fresh. The sashimi salad has a good variety of sashimi. I appreciate the ginger dressing was on the side so I can decide how much dressing to add to my salad. The rolls were made well. The beef udon had a good variety of toppings and was on of the better soup udon bowls I have enjoyed in quite some time.

My complaint would the oshi rice was a bit soft and fell apart easily. For some reason, the rice was intact for the rolls and nigiri. Also, service was on the slower side. There was only one server working the floor and we had to ask her multiple times to refill our tea cups.

As of July 2, 2022 - staff wear masks and sanitizer available at the front. Nice restaurant and is Korean owned. Really good flavours and I wish I tried more oshi. I enjoyed their chopped scallop one a lot! Also the pork Katsu don was so filling and perfectly flavoured. Bento box was good too but just very basic and classic (no qualms with it but nothing out of the ordinary either). I'd definitely come back to try the other oshi!

Let's be honest It's hard finding a good quality sushi restaurant in Surrey. There aren't many and I can definitely say this ones a good one.

I saw a friend eating the Oshi sushi and it looked really nice. Sooo I knew I needed to try.

You definitely always gotta try the salmon Oshi when you're getting an Oshi. They have a nice selection to choose from.

These oshi's looked too good to eat but, of course we ate them all. Really nice amount of rice to fish.

I will definitely come here the next time I'm in the area again.

Food and service is excellent! The quality of fish is always the starting point for me and this place has it.

First time to been there. Was followed the review to there. Nice And clean restaurant, I ordered assorted sushi, Food court quality. Restaurant price.

We eat sushi weekly and know of quality locations. This week we decided to go into BC and continue our hunt for a worthy north of the border option. We enjoyed every piece of fish served and recognize the outstanding choices and knife skills, here. If our next visit proves consistent, we have a new favorite!

Best sushi ever!!! So fresh, great combos. Try the csa sashimi and salmon oshi. Will be back.

Because I was craving for Salmon Oshi we found this place just a stone throw away from home. Well lit restaurant with spacious seating and nice ambience. Their food was awesome too from Ebi Mayo to their Beef Bento Box. I particularly love their Salmon Oshi, Ebi Mayo and Chicken Karage. Service was a bit slow but understandable because it was a busy Friday night. Reasonably priced too so we will surely be back!

Best sushi I've had in my life - including Coast, Miku, and Akari. Wow This place is a unicorn.
