Long story short, we found a car online at the right price-point. We called for more details and met Chris who greeted us very professionally with lots of information. After testing driving the car everything seemed in order except the air conditioning. Chris took care of it and delivered the car the next day. For context, the car was blowing cold AC when we bought the car but a few days later stopped blowing due to an AC compressor leak. One call to Chris and he made it happen. He arranged the repairs and orchestrated an on-time delivery of the car. Thanks Chris. We will definitely be continuing our business with you.

I have SO many positive remarks to say about this place. Chris has helped me purchase reasonably priced cars for 20 years now. He will work with you to find a car on his lot that serves your needs and fits within your budget. I have had little to NO trouble with the several Subaru's and one VW that I purchased from him. Full disclaimer: I haven't bought a car here. However, this review is a reflection of my interaction with Chris for over a year now.

I found Chris' postings on Craigslist when I was looking for a car.

The first thing that stood out to me was how kind and responsive he was, and even when I asked about cars he wasn't selling, he was willing to pull the Carfax and give me his expertise.

When my husband bought a used car that didn't pass smog, Chris gave us guidance on what the problems could be and it ended up working and passing smog.

This is a reflection of the type of dealership you would be going to. Honest, kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help you find the right vehicle for you.

Chris definitely is a great guy! He was very patient from the very first time. He is always punctual and honest, I thought he was doing that just to sell the car. But no, a coulpe times after concluding the deal we concluded the deal he still help us. He is a very professional dealer and a very helpful guy. I'm fine with my car now, but surely the next one I will buy, I talk to him again!

I bought a used Subaru Forester here in 2019. It seemed like a reasonable value at the time. However, the tires turned out to be retread and two of them blew up within 5,000 miles, causing significant damage to the car. After getting that fixed (and getting new tires) I was able to put about 40,000 more miles on the car. By that point it was profusely leaking coolant, and I had to top up the coolant every couple hundred miles. It had some other smaller issues which surfaced in the first 10,000 miles I drove it - the windshield wiper transmission/linkage broke, and the headlights would unplug themselves every so often (this was easy to fix with some electrical tape). Overall this car was legitimately unsafe to drive in the condition I purchased it.

I paid $4000 out the door for this vehicle and got about 45,000 miles out of it. However I had to spend quite a bit to fix the wiper assembly, new tires, repairs from the tires blowing up, etc. It ended up being a bad investment and frankly pretty dangerous.

I would NOT recommend anyone purchase a used car at Auto World Fremont.

Bought a restored Forester for my wife. It's been a great car. After sales information for good service at good price has been very helpful. Highly recommended for used Subarus.

Even though I didn't purchase a car through Chris. He offered his time and expertise with any questions I had with a vehicle I purchased. He gave recommendations and tips in the most genuine, helpful, and honest way. Which is rare now a days. Thank you!!!
