This is the 'easy' button for selling a vehicle. A couple of friends had told me about this service and I was skeptical at first that I'd get a great price but AutoLetGo was so simple and I was happy with the price and overall service of this company. They gave me a price through the KBB site and I got an appointment quickly for Robert to come to my house, assess the car and write a check on the spot, no hassle and a pleasant experience (especially after dealing previously with auto dealers). After the check cleared our bank account, all we had to do was call them to arrange a pickup and the guy soon arrived to take it off our hands. I will use them again and I highly recommend.

Update... two months after I wrote my initial review, I did sell my Mazda 3 and bought a new Accord. I had no hesitation in going with AutoLetGo again. I got a quote from the Honda dealer for $7K. I told them that I'd been offered about 15% more through an online service, and they said that's a terrific offer and I should take it!

I sold my car to Autolet (Ben), and it was a very satisfying experience.

As is generally known, dealers run dealership stores, which come with expenses to operate. However, Autolet operates on-demand car selling/buying, which means they don't maintain a large store to keep cars in stock. Instead, they store the cars elsewhere and make appointments to show or see the cars at their office.

In my case, I used KBB (Kelly Blue Book) ICO (Instant Cash Offer) and visited about 6 different dealers in town to redeem the offer.

When I visited Autolet's office on El Camino without an appointment, expecting a regular dealer shop, I had a hard time finding the office as it's located on the 2nd floor of the flooring store. Tip: It's difficult to spot the sign, so just look for the flooring store and use their parking lot. I reached out to them via phone and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later.

Two days later, I met Ben, who promptly arrived for our appointment. Although he was running a bit late from his previous appointment, he kept me informed and was a good communicator. Ben examined my car, took photos to evaluate its price, and then made me an offer. His offer was higher than most other dealerships in town. I mentioned that I wanted to drive the car for one more day, and Ben offered to close the deal but allowed me to drive the car and drop it off at the agreed location. He also provided an Uber ride to any place I needed to go the next day.

Without a physical dealership and an office that was difficult to find, one might have doubts about the legitimacy of this company. However, I can confidently say that Autolet (Ben and Robert) are trustworthy business owners, and I would do business with them again.

Robert and Ben were fantastic. I shopped my Veloster N around town, and their offer was on the high end of the range. Plus, they came to me via Uber, so I didn't have to drive 20-40 miles to a dealership. I couldn't ask for a smoother, quicker transaction. Initially, I was worried about the lack of a physical dealership presence, but these guys are highly professional. They were able to do a virtual tour of the car and generate an offer within minutes. I would 100% work with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell a vehicle quickly and easily.

Perception vs. Reality.

We had a 2011 Porsche Panamera to sell, the car is good condition for 102,000 miles so I wasn't sure which avenue to go to sell the car. What I know is I don't want strangers coming to my home, I don't want to be giving test drives, and I don't want to deal with any Buyer finance issues.

So my perception was to go to the BIGGEST to get the BEST price, however that turned out not to be the case. I went to CARMAX in Colma, and although they were professional and courteous they missed some key items on the car so it booked out for less. After getting their quote I decided to do some homework online.

If you have a used car to sell I HIGHLY recommend going through KBB.Com. They are the ones that have the secret formula for how cars are rated and priced. I put in our vehicles specs and it took less than 5 minutes and amazingly within 5 minutes, I got offers from at least 6 Bay Area car brokers and dealers and even one from Anaheim.

Be careful here because some will first ask what you want and then may even try to offer you a higher amount so that you won't sell to another buyer. But then they do a comprehensive walkaround and start deducting from their initial offer. Yet they know you are tired of selling the car and most likely will cave into their lower offer.

This is NOT the case with AutoLetGo and Robert. I didn't know Robert from Adam, but he was super efficient, honest, and reasonable. And in the car business integrity goes a long way.

He met my wife and myself at the local bank right before closing time where we received a Cashiers Check. We signed over the title and took the Porsche back home where he arranged to have it picked up the next day from his crew.

Robert NEVER picked at the exterior, interior, or any of the cosmetic blemishes a car will inevitably have after 12 years and 102,000 miles. And although Robert's price was 300 less than the highest offer I got, he was about $2,000 above CarMAX. (Hardly any MAX here).

So in conclusion, I recommend you going to KBB.COM, enter your info, wait for all the calls and offers that will come shooting your way and then give Robert a call. You will be presently surprised at how easy it is to sell your used car for a fair price to him.

Fast and painless experience selling my car. Ben arrived the same day to view the car and provided an offer right there. We negotiated a bit and I was able to raise it. In the next two days, we concluded the sale.

They proactively reached out and seemed very willing to help, perhaps a little too willing. The other reviews were good so I gave them a chance. They ultimately weren't able to meet Carmax' deal, but I would consider using in the future. The office location seemed a little sketchy, but I think their overall thing is to come to you so they don't keep a big overhead.
