I had a very positive experience at Automatic Transmission Center just
before the Independence Day, when I brought in our 1998 Honda Civic for diagnostics testing.
When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile by Lenin R., who came across as a true professional and very knowledgeable about older cars and issues with transmission.
I immediately felt that I'm in the right place, and trusted Lenin with our Honda, believing that he will find out what was going on with our car.
I was happily surprised to hear that he will have diagnostics done by the end
of the day. In fact, he called me within just two hours with the good news that the transmission was OK!
Lenin didn't charge me for the diagnostics, and I left the place with our beloved old Honda as a very happy customer.
Kudos to Lenin and Automatic Transmission Center for excellence in customer service and quality work!

Recently I needed a referral for transmission service. Robert at Action Auto (my all time Savior-of-Drivers and Solver-of-Auto-Woes). He sent me to Lenin at Automatic Transmission, and what a gift this man was. He was able to fit me in next day, and diagnose a potentially fatal transmission issue within hours. He was so incredibly responsive and respectful at every turn (not a common experience as a cis woman in dude spaces like auto shops), and most helpfully, he gave me the worst-case and less-worse-case scenarios to mull over while he evaluated the van so I didn't need to sit around eating my anxiety for 4 hours.

I'd recommend this shop to anyone, they were friendly, helpful, budget-conscious and just all-around amazing.

I love this place and the staff. Consistently very kind and very knowledgeable. I needed a transmission replacement and he provided three levels of different cost according to what I could afford. Also gave me all the information of what needs to be fixed, including the trouble codes. Just felt very safe and guided while here. Free diagnostic I highly highly recommend. I even sent my girlfriend to get some information and they were very kind. She didn't feel like she was being taken advantage of whatsoever.

I have a 1989 Toyota MR2. I bought the car from someone from Redding, as my Project car. Naturally with most project cars they aren't in the best condition. Like most Toyota's however, they are still reliable as it can at least still run. For it having a bad Transmission, I was still able to do everything I needed to, aside from my Transmission taking a few seconds to actually shift into Reverse.

Then after about a year, I was unable to Reverse. To be safe, I asked AAA to Tow my Car to Automatic Transmission Center, and just like the many other reviews have stated, Lenin Was a Great guy. Really nice, to the point where I just wanted to stay there and have a few Conversations with him. He told me my transmission was just- BAD, haha!! and that I had the choice of trying to find another transmission which could take a few months, or to just have it rebuilt. -I chose to have it rebuilt- The Inspection was free, but then I soon found out why. The actual cost to rebuild a transmission was a tad more then I anticipated, but I am happy with the results. Even helped me find some other issues that need fixing. Just make sure your Right financially, and you definitely get what you pay for. Everyone's car may vary, but my car was there for Almost 2 weeks, just to put into perspective. But it was well worth the wait. :)

I had brought in a accord with some trans problem around 50,000 miles, 03. Spoke to Lenin who assisted me over the phone and in person like a profesional. Lenin as well as the mechanic team got my car done in 2 weeks with it feeling and performing better than when I picked it up. Car runs smoothly till today, got it serviced back in may of 2023. Definitely recommend this place for anyone dealing with transmission light and problems.

I brought my car to Automatic Transmission Center a few weeks ago, and they graciously accepted me as a walk-in customer, as I had come in early enough for them to fit me in. The dealership service department had told me I had a failed transmission that would be very expensive to repair. Before deciding to just replace my car, I thought best to get second opinion. After a morning evaluation, Lenin explained to me that there was no problem with my transmission and that the car's problems were likely unrelated. Lenin's info led me to decide to keep my car and saved me a ton of money had I followed faulty dealership advice that I already distrusted. From the start, I only received friendly and honest service from Lenin. Definitely recommend if you need transmission service.
