Automotive Collision Repair

This shop was contracted by a dealer to perform some warranty related work for one of my cars.

Long story short, given some paint related issues on a relatively new car, I was looking at potentially having to repaint some major portions of the car.

James the owner, is really communicative and through in his work.

He provided extremely detailed insight into the work that he'd potentially be doing and provided a less "invasive"/spot treatment type option after sensing my reservations about having to repaint signification portions of a "new" car. He also made sure to answer all my questions.

I ended up going with that less invasive option as a first step as James, mentioned that if I didn't like the results, we always have the option of doing a full repaint per the warranty claim.

The quoted repair time was 3-4 days, with James saying that he wanted to personally do the work. Around day 3, he called me to apologize for the delay and mentioned that he's been out sick with a nasty cold. The repair ended up taking about a week and change to complete. While this was a bit longer than expected, the fact that he did the work himself and provided me with an update, even while being under the weather was impressive.

When it came time to pick up the car, James met me at the dealer and walked me through what he had done. He again explained his process and made sure that I was happy with the work.

I've dealt with quite a few body shops and automotive repair shops and very few, if any, are as detailed and communicative as James was.

In terms of cost or value, I cannot provide any feedback, as the repair cost was covered by my vehicle's manufacturer.

Overall, the experience with James and Automotive Collision Repair was second to none and I would wholeheartedly recommend that anyone looking for body or paint work, check out this shop!

Very thankful I found this shop! some one did a hit and run on my car and I was unable to open my rear passenger door due the handle being broken

I called the shop and spoke with Josh he really went an extra step for me and stayed late for me to bring my car in. since I work I was unable to get there by 5. Gave me an estimate fairly quick. I did do some shopping around (I always like to get second opinions ) and I will say this shop definitely met all my expectations compared to other shops. I have worked with . i called the shop back And they said I could bring the car back once everything was approved (which was nice because I did not have rental coverage)

I just got my car back today and it looks amazing and feels back to new. They even detailed it for me which was really nice!

Just wanted to say what a terrific guy Adam is over at Automotive Collision Repair.

My car was taken there following an accident for inspection and was later declared a total loss, but until that time Adam was super responsive and helpful.

I asked him to save my floor mats before the car was collected by the salvage company, but then couldn't get over there for a few weeks. I assumed he'd have got rid of them by then, but he still had them for me.

When I went over in my other car today to get the mats, I was bowled over by how friendly he was. On top of that, when I asked him what I should do to touch-up/remove some plastic residue and scratches that were scraped into my bumper, and he just grabbed something and took care of it right there for me at no cost.

It was a just a few minutes and a simple gestrure, but I'm 100% taking my business here the next time I need bodywork done (OK, hopefully never!)

I took my car in for a bumper repair. The group was fast, professional, and honored their original quote. Low stress and friendly interactions all around. I would take my car back here.

Unfortunately for me, Adam and I have become close fiends. Let me explain: I have a garage only slightly wider than my Audi A4. More than once I've damaged the drivers side backing out. This last time I took off the passengers side mirror because I wan't paying enough attention.

When I say more than once I'm not kidding. I drop it off, wait for it to be repaired and just pick it up. I don't even look at the work because I know it will be top of the line.
I can without hesitation recommend ACR. Absolutely top of the line.

I found out this place through Audi of Oakland, Their services was amazing and super super professional specially Adam is super nice and took care of my car from A to Z. I dropped off my Audi to the right hand and not to worry anything. definitely will recommend anyone to use their service. Adam and his team are the best of the best. I saved their contact numbers to top of my first list whenever I need their helps for my family and all friends. Thank Adam and keep up all the good works

Not helpful and terrible attitude
Would not go there if one could help it. The owner is the worst customer relation person ever.
I received a call back from the Owner yesterday hours after my posting , the Shop demonstrated willingness to listen ! I'll try them for sure when the next opportunity arises.

Josh saw how Despert I was when I drove up. He saw the issue, checked the problem, and fixed it with no hesitation. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Thanks Josh
