They were able to accommodate a next day appointment right away.
I have been looking for a good place to go to for months since I moved to the area a few months ago and had no success till I found this place.
The salon is very nicely designed and welcoming, when the hair stylist introduced herself she was very nice and explaining the different options I had.
My mom and I came to get a haircut and my mom a hair design and coloring as well. Missi the stylist was very patient and nice explaining the prices that where very fair for what we where getting done.
We had had a great time being there and enjoyed getting our hair done, it was very accurate to what we wanted and very time efficient.

Beware of interacting with the owner/booking though Yelp.
Switched my stylist last minute, damaged my hair, gave out my phone number so their stylist could call me on my birthday, called me a liar, proceeded to lie about what happened on her Yelp response, wouldn't give me a partial refund, then blocked me! :)
If you've seen any of my previous reviews and the response from the owner - as you can tell she is not good at resolving issues with customers.
In all of her responses she says she talked to me, she said I changed my mind during the appointment, she said I had henna in my hair, she said I was happy with my hair at the end. I left after 9 hours with nothing good, and missing work - having a panic attack. I left as cordially as I could, a thanking people for their time (of course). she also said I laughed at her on the phone. (She gave her stylist my phone number to call me from a random number, and when I answered on my birthday and was bombarded with her being told stuff second hand from the owner - I didn't laugh or chuckle at them, I was completely caught off guard and didn't realize my phone number would be given out so people could call me with problems on my birthday)
NONE of those things are true. I had little contact with the owner until after my appointment- when I reached out to her with my concerns.
I gave up with communicating with this salon at all since the owner was making up complete lies, on and off of Yelp. I felt the need to reach out to the state board of barber and cosmetology , since there was so many red flags during my appointment (having conversations in front of me ,not knowing what developer to use and how long to leave it in my hair).
The biggest downfall of this place was the owner, she charged me a premium price for the most experienced hair stylist in the salon, and then switched my stylist the night before and didn't reply to any of my following questions- until I had no choice but to show up to my already scheduled appointment, with a different/new stylist.
Any comment from the owner in how SHE perceived my experience was, is not relevant because the hair is on MY head and i discussed my options with my hair stylist and NOT her. (ie:checking camera footage and saying I was smiling - so I must've been happy, which apparently means I'm lying about everything else).
For the record - i understand my hair is dark and knew it wouldn't lift completely blonde like I wanted it to, depending on the outcome after the bleach I had offered other options I would have been comfortable with IF it didn't lift past a certain level..... on my behalf, that was open communication to have with my stylist - I was not constantly changing my mind on what I wanted done to my hair during the appointment.
I am still following up with board of cosmetology, I still never received ANY SORT of refund, or an apology for the heap of lies I was attacked with. I deeply regret spending any money here now.
The owner made it clear that she COULD, but would not give me a partial refund. (Although I scheduled and paid for the most experienced stylist in the salon) To this day you can see the damage and see exactly where they had to double bleach my hair, after trying to get out a strip of black dye that was put on top of my freshly-bleached hair.

You are resulting to lies to deflect, and calling me a liar when I have all the pictures to prove. I don't think I was rude, I have no problem showing our messages- I had no intention on being rude especially if I wanted to work something out. You won't work with me cause you took my money already!

Ever since I posted my last review the owner has proved she is not a easy person to work with, or to reason with customer resolution after she refused to work with me on getting my partial refund, and is calling me manipulative and a liar! That's real professional for customer service! My hair is STILL not even done correctly, and I still walked out of the salon with a WET head... WHY WOULD ANYONE HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR HAVING SOMEONE MESS UP (and not even completely fix) THEIR HAIR FOR 9 HOURS?
The money I get back will be going to a color correction because there is now HALF black dye roots on the lower half of my head, and bleached black roots at the top of my head!
The owner said because she watched the cameras back and when I first walked out I LOOKED happy, (even though I only made it to my car and then walked right back inside a few seconds after to show what I wanted fixed). I didn't change my mind, she had did a poor job, I had a black stripe on my roots, not blended. (See picture) I went to the car and called my mom as I freaked out, and then went back. So apparently wanting something expensive done properly that makes me a manipulator and a liar! Look at my pictures and let me know if I'm the one manipulating the situation.
1st post:
My hair got botched a few days before my birthday, left with wet hair, and having a panic attack after being in the chair for 9 hours with no breaks. lam still charged the same price they charged for their most seasoned stylist.
The owner will not create a resolution for me unless I call and personally talk to the stylist (She was very sweet but that's so uncomfortable and unfair for me), and gave her stylists my number to call me without asking my permission or giving a heads up.
FULL STORY:
Treached out for a consultation - talked to the owner and had an appointment made. I was originally booked with one of the stylists who frequently has her work posted on Yelp. Shortly after I was notified I was being rebooked with someone who's name didn't recognize. I asked the owner for a portfolio, since I was going with a new edgy style I wanted to make sure I was with a seasoned stylist. I didn't get a response but with my appointment being the next day there wasn't many options.
Got there the next day and explained what I wanted, this included bleaching whole sections of my hair. The stylist asked if I wanted my roots blended and I said yes. My hair gave no issues lifting since I haven't colored it in so long, the problem came with the "blending of the roots", I ended up with a inch of a black line at the top of my head that was not blended. (See picture, but imagine that all around my head!)
It was also interesting how my stylist asked one of the other stylist a question or advice on my hair,
"what volume should I use?", "How long should I leave it in there for?" "What should I tone this with?" and also I think taking pictures of my hairs in the foil during the process (my assumption to ask for advice).
After seeing my hair I asked her to fix it before I left, not realizing how long it would take. IN TOTAL IT TOOK 9 HOURS. Since the black dye was put over the bleach it wouldn't lift. It was 7PM, my appointment started at 10AM, I hadn't ate anything and was STILL sitting under a heating lamp for the past hour and my hair wouldn't lift past an orange.
My scalp was burning - having been bleached, toned twice and colored.
*****When the stylist went back the second time she only corrected half of my head, which is why the hair by my neck still looks the way it does... In the future, paying for a color correction for this WITH the black dye still in there is going to be expensive and long
***** I messaged the owner and she only responded a few times and then went silent. And then *without my permission* gave my personal number to the hair stylist - so in the middle of my vacation I was getting calls from a random number, and then the awkward confusion once i answered and realized it's the stylist I wasn't satisfied with calling me asking me what I said to the owner!
And at this point the owner already has pictures of my hair, but won't give me any updates, but will ask their stylist to call me on my vacation....
Speaking up when you don't like your hair is hard enough especially when you spend hours getting to know that stylist- feedback is not everyone's forte, not understanding why the owner is making that my responsibility to personally give a stylist feedback. - Careen A.San Ramon, CA285Aug 12, 2024
First time I had an updo appointment for a wedding with Mozghan. She did a great job, my hair lasted for 3 days straight.

Their customer service,run by the manager Rachel, while the owner is away for half of the month, unfortunately needs improvement. She was unhappy with how I booked my appointment online, even though I filled out all the possible options. I even called multiple times however they don't pick up the phone. I called back to speak with the owner only to be told she's on vacation and if I wanted to cancel I would be charged 20%. Pretty petty to tell your customer how to book when those options weren't available. Just lost a customer which is unfortunate as I liked my stylist.

I am sorry I caused such a negative experience for you. Since you only booked a 1 hour service online and wanted one for 2.5 hours, I tried to walk you through how to book so there was no confusion in the future. Your multiple calls were all within a 5 minute span, so unfortunately, we couldn't leave the clients we were currently servicing to answer (Imagine how upsetting it would be for your stylist to leave to answer the phone in the middle of your haircut). However, we called you immediately once one of us was available. Avital was on vacation but I am here full time to run the salon. Our cancellation policy is a 40% charge of the service cancelled within 48 hours but since you booked same day we waived the fee entirely for you. I respect your decision of where you want to take your business but it is unfair to your stylist to punish her for one unpleasant conversation. During my second visit to the salon, I opted for a hair coloring session after having a haircut during my previous appointment. I was amazed with the outcome once again! The staff took excellent care of me, addressing any inquiries I had promptly. Mozghan did a great job with the hair color I was looking for! I highly recommend their services.

I was super impressed by the color and cut I got at Avital Beauty Lounge by Mozghan Zamani .
She was a real pro who considered movement when layering.
I'm super happy.Everyone in the salon seemed to be skilled. I think the owner knows how to find talent.
It's a modest place in looks - does charge market rates but really delivers

Ask and you shall receive. I told Avital what I want - simple yet glowing. And I got it! It went so natural as photo shoot happened two hours later. I was so thrilled and thankful. She does make up based on you, not based on what make up can do on the face. For me, it meant - the look that will make you glow and still be confidently comfortable you.
I barely put on make up and if I did, it's not the best thing ever. Avital offers one-on-one. She said she will teach me how to do me, based on my eyes my cheeks my face - which I like! I will take you on that, Avital! Set me up a schedule when this mask concern is over. We're on! And encouraging everyone too!
With my hair - Initially I was anxious on how my hair would look like as Okee and I discussed - I want layers and maybe dramatic ones. Just not too dramatic that I would get scared. It turned out - wonderful! I was overwhelmed! She did a fantastic job!! Cute and simple. Elegant but playful! You'll see her with hairs all over her clothes so you know she's the one who cuts hair around there.
Epic place. Park at the parking building across the street. First hour free.

I went yesterday to this place to get a haircut and I'm very happy I did. I was looking to get a short pixie haircut and Monica did a great job. I showed her some pictures and told her what I had in mind and she delivered. Monica was very friendly and throughout the entire haircut she kept on checking with me about length and shape.
