Another appliance repair need - another visit from Ken. He is an amazing business owner/operator and a true professional. This time, the washing machine was pooling water when not in use. He came in WITH THE REPLACEMENT PART IN HANDS, since he had already suspected the cause of the issue and diagnosed it before arrival. Replaced the part and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. In looking at my Yelp review history, my first review was left for Ken 11 years ago. Reliable then, and reliable now. I would highly recommend Awesome Appliance Repair without hesitation, time and time again.

Oh no 0Sep 4, 2020Previous reviewI've used Awesome Appliance Repair time and time again - and for good reason. I can trust them to give me an honest assessment of the problem, and I can count on them to fix the issue. They proved this to me again when I had an issue with our refrigerator last week. Ken was on time, courteous, and clearly an expert in appliance repair. Though it turned out my 'fridge issues weren't caused by mechanical failures, Ken took the time to give me advice and guidance on how to monitor its performance going forward, and even CALLED ME YESTERDAY to check on the refrigerator to make sure no issues persisted after he left. Who does that? Even my doctors don't do that and if anyone should, they should! Clearly Ken knows appliances, and cares about his customers. When friends ask me if I know anyone for appliance repair, these guys are the only ones I ever recommend.
Sep 18, 2012Previous reviewMy ice maker was overproducing ice. I had an appointment already set up with another company to come take a look tomorrow. On the way home I noticed Awesome Appliance Repair's truck at a neighbor's house. I dialed the number on the side of the truck just to compare service call rates. Ken, the owner, answered the phone and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that their service call rate was half that of the competition. Further, Ken was the serviceman at my neighbor's house and was willing to come by within the hour! After a quick review of the business on Yelp, I agreed to the service call.
Less than an hour later, my ice maker was fixed (Ken had the part in his truck) and I didn't have to take time off work tomorrow waiting for the other repair shop.
Ken was courteous, professional and knowledgable. I am glad I took a chance and called AAR after seeing them in my neighborhood. I would definitely call Ken again if another appliance needs repair in the future.

The thermal fuse on my dryer went out so Ken was able to immediately repair and provide a lot of good advice in properly maintaining my machine for long term use. Ken repaired my Samsung freezer and did a great job! Prompt arrival, very professional and really took the time to explain every thing. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past these days but I was so impressed I've shared my experience with three of my friends. The name says it all.

My LG dryer was making rusty sounds as it twirled and I called the company I've bn using for centuries (that's how old the dryer is too) only to find out they don't service my beloved brand any more BUT they referred me to Awsome and I'm in heaven. My LG dryer's back to whirling smoothly and quietly, I'm sure it will last into the next decade. I'm SO HAPPY I was forced to change repair service. I'll be calling them whenever i have a prob with one of my appliances. PS Ken works in small spaces - didn't have to pull out my huge stacked dryer from the tiny cupboard.

Our dryer had completely stopped working after several years. I spoke with Ken over the phone, and he asked me to explain exactly what it was doing. Once he came out to assess the dryer, he knew exactly what went wrong and repaired it in no time! I would highly recommend this business and will be using them again in the future.

I went with Awesome Appliance Repair because they work with LG appliances. Made an appointment for within the week but was notified I would be contacted if an earlier appointment came up. An earlier appointment opened up and they were here a day early. They gave my appliance a thorough inspection to confirm the issue. They had the replacement part in hand so my washer was fixed within an hour. Technician was very knowledge and nice. Very happy with the service.

Ken is truly AWESOME... the best service man we have ever experienced. Extremely knowledgeable, understands the importance of weighing repair vs replacement of unit. Clearly explains the problem and is upfront with what he is sure of and what he can only assume with out further diagnosis. After finishing the repair he was called out for, he discovered another problem that required ordering a part. He went the extra mile to get it quickly and made the time in his full schedule to come back the next day and get it resolved.
