New banh mi place in downtown Victoria. Apparently they sold out the first day it opened so I wasnt able to try it that day.

The price range is around $6-7.
I haven't seen any banh mi only places in Victoria and when I go to vietnamese restaurants the price of a banh mi is $10+.

They don't give too much meat and it seems like it is all meatloaf (cha lua) style instead of the chunks of meat you'd get from a different banh mi place. Not sure if all bale does it this way.

The customer service is great. They'll separate the veggies for you if you want so that it'll stay fresh.

They don't make the baguette in stores so I'm guessing they source it elsewhere.

They can probably fit 1 big family in the store as there is probably enough seats for 16-20.

Also might not recommend items with vietnamese sausage for people who are allergic to seafood. Coworker got an insane rash attack. I believe fish sauce is used to make them but I will double check again the next time I go.

Stoped in for a quick lunch. Tried the spicy vegan chicken sandwich and the vegan steak sandwich. Fast friendly service and appreciated they have a few different vegan options.

The French baguette was so soft and toasted perfectly. I'm not a fan of super crunchy or toasted baguettes. Filled nicely with pickled vegetables and meat, but did think it could have used a little more of both. Delicious pate that was flavorful and truly made the sandwich. Two year old approved too!

Best food I've had since I got to town a month ago. I'm here with my wife while she works and I have nothing to do but wander and eat. Next to Nubo, this place is the best. Terrific value as well. Go.

Excellent Bahn mi sandwiches. Our favorite is the grilled pork (#2). The pork was delicious and tender, the veggies were fresh and crisp, and the bread was terrific.

The owner was friendly and the restaurant was immaculately kept.

      Will definitely be back.

Fabulous Bahn Mi with multiple vegan and vegetarian options made by super nice people. Rolls are flaky, veggies nicely pickled and portions are generous for the price. If you like spicy, try the Vegan Spicy Chicken. Highly recommend!

Love this place! We took a shuttle just to come to this place...we got so lucky because they were close to selling out for the day. We all got the pork Bahn Mi and one of the best we have ever had. The bread is to die for...perfect crunch, but perfect softness too. Fresh baked and reasonable priced. Rarely do I bookmark places for a return visit, but this place is a must come back to on our next trip to Victoria! My daughter had the milk lychee dessert drink and she said it was one of the best she's had! Owner is super friendly too!
