Babatang Robson

First day in Vancouver and when I saw this place, I knew I wanted to check it out. My family just had dinner so we only ordered one thing - mango lovers. It was sooo good. Very light and refreshing and the actual coconut was sweet. I'm already thinking about going back.

The shop itself is small and my party of 4 couldn't really sit together. Hubby stood up while eating. So, if you're planning on going in a large group, you most likely won't sit together.

Service was nice. She took our order and even brought it out to us too.

Why 5 stars? Because I couldn't pass up the opportunity to eat this and it met my expectation.

Okay full disclosure, this is how my Wednesday night went:

1) Most expensive dinner of my life in the form of Omakase (which ended with two sweet courses)

2) Well, it's my last night in Vancouver, so I might as well hit up one of the dessert places I have bookmarked.

3) Well, I just had one of those dessert places, but I REALLY want to try Babatang Robson too, so what the hell -- I'm on vacation.

So technically this was dessert #3 over the course of not even an hour. The good thing is that this was not an overwhelmingly sweet or heavy dessert. It really went down with the same ease as just a regular mango would have, but it just had some extra (mostly natural) stuff.

I'd happily enjoy this deliciousness on a regular basis if I lived in Vancouver. There were a ton of menu items that looked appealing, so I'm might even be their best customer.

Delicious coconut desserts - right next to a boba spot too so you can double dip on the dessert scene.

The mad mango was my favorite but I want to come back and try so much more!

Baba Tang is know for the signature coconut pudding so I knew I needed to try their mango flavoured one. It came in a cute coconut and had lots of flavour and was extremely refreshing. I also got the drink version of this to go and found it equally just as good. Would be interested in trying some of the other coconut flavoured puddings the next time I'm here!

Cute little place, we got the mango lover and coconut mango and it was sooooo good! The staff were friendly. Recommend if you're looking for a refreshing snack or dessert.

Highly recommend Mango Coconut pudding, Mad mango & Pink drink. Owners of the store are lovely. Ambiance + service are great if you are looking for a spot to relax

Very cute dessert shop on Robson! We tried the Strawberry Lover's Coconut Pudding! I was quite impressed. We had it to-go and it was carefully wrapped with saran wraps to prevent spillages. Service was nice and efficient.

If you're from the Bay Area, I think it's comparable to Tong Sui in taste but way more impressive presentation with a higher sticker price. I wish they had some hot items to choose from but overall, I do plan on coming back when I'm in the area.

Amazing service and amazing drinks! The music is so calming and the space is very calm and friendly.

Great ambiance with trendy deco and relaxing music. We ordered the coconut pudding with mango and Mad coconut drink. Both are delicious, not too sweet! Mango and coconut blend well together without overpowering each other.

Wife and I stopped here on a whim and ended up loving their main item: the mango lovers coconut pudding is really good!
