Absolutely love this boutique karaoke bar. Really friendly bartenders, awesome custom drinks and a positive karaoke experience. Nothing but great vibes! Will definitely return next time I'm in the big Apple!

From when you first walk in to when you're holding the mic, everything feels like it's set up to give you that 'big moment' when it's your turn to sing, from the huge sign when you walk in, to the lighting and layout. Behind the bar looks like a big vanity mirror and I love that.

Each song is $2, they use the Healsonic app for song numbers. There is a 10-card song pack for $16 that comes in a silver trading card boost pack foil thingy, it's cute that they go the extra mile.

I really like the small stage up front. There's an 'orchestra pit' type thing in front of it with seating and small tables along the side. Most of the patrons here (and also the staff) seem to be extremely good singers, but don't let that intimidate you, as this place attracts a friendly crowd. Katie the MC does a great job of managing the song queue and keeping the hype going for people between songs as well.

The staff are all incredibly sweet and friendly, and the real stars of this place. Zach's the man, Liz and Keara are funny as hell. You might catch the bartenders singing a song themselves when things are slow/picking up. I think it's cool that they lead by example like this, especially if you're the type to be nervous about singing in public. Drink prices are comparable to other Manhattan bars, and service is quick. If you enjoy puns, their specialty cocktails/mocktails are named after popular songs. I like the Whiskey Up Before You Go-Go.

I've been here a couple of times with different friend groups and have seen the vibes at different points of the week, and it's always a consistently good time (though Saturday nights can be a little overwhelming with how packed it can get).

We were looking for a bar after our event that was open near where we were staying (what happened to the old NYC with a bar on every block?)

This place was the closest, turns out it is a karaoke bar, but also a pretty small one - the bar maybe seats 10 folks.

There were about 7 people in this place, only about 5 of them were singing and (HOLY COW) they were all GREAT singers. I'm used to places were folks can barely carry a tune, but one guy did an Elvis Costello song in the exact voice of Elvis Costello - we bought him a drink.

I sang two songs. They were favorably received. I left before they rejected me. I suggest 'One' by U2

I came here with a group of 5. We rented the small private room. They also have a medium and large room for bigger parties.
The room had a plush couch that sat 4 people comfortably and 5 if we squeezed. There was also a backless stool for additional seating.

You have to go to the bar to order drinks. You can grab the well drinks from the bartender right away and they'll bring the speciality cocktails to your room. I tried the Tequilling Me Softly. It was tangy and sweet. The My Paloma was also quite sweet, but still fruity and tasty. Both cocktails were very strong.

There is a tablet in the room for easy song selection. You can also download an app to choose songs, but that requires connecting to the venue's wifi with sign up and a password. You can add songs to a queue or send them to the top of the list. The room had two microphones so you could do duets.

In the main bar area, there is a stage with seating around it. I'm not sure how song requests work in this section since we went straight to the private room, but it seemed like a friendly, encouraging crowd.

I'd come again!

This is voted the number 1 Karaoke place for a reason. It's super cute and friendly! The live band, hanky-panky was also great. The sound is a little loud because it's a small space so be prepared to wear earplugs. I really liked how easy the system was to sign up for songs and they are pretty fair about getting you up there. It seems like a lot of locals come here, but they are welcoming to newcomers. If you're looking for a quick place to sing a song and get on with the rest of your night on the town, come here.

This place slays! I went to the original, baby size location for my birthday in 2019, then didn't do karaoke in public venues for 5 years, and finally returned for my birthday in 2024. So happy they have this upgraded, bigger spot. The location is great, the private rooms are nice and clean, and the song selection is top notch. As a longtime karaoke lover, definitely book this place for your party or drop in for an after-work power ballad hour.

Wow, what an unforgettable birthday experience at Baby Grand! Our expectations were not just met but exceeded. The Private Event Space was an absolute gem - flawlessly managed and beautifully set up. Cindy, our host, was an absolute delight, ensuring the drinks kept flowing and the tunes kept us boppin' all night long. It truly felt like having an extra friend celebrating with us! The rave reviews are still pouring in about how much fun it was. If you're looking for the ultimate karaoke heaven, look no further. Long story short. My girl dumped me and I needed to release my demons so I googled karaoke bars near me and stumbled upon this place. It's not the most flashy spot from the outside but the inside is completely different. The staff was the gem though. Everyone from Mike at the door to Liz and Katie. Honestly, I don't ask for much but they provided so much. I came with no expectations but left with a huge smile.

You come here to sing your songs but you really make friends both behind the bar and near you.

The espresso martinis here make me want to call my entire roster.

Very unprofessional, I can't believe what my eyes were seeing! I purchased a song to sing karaoke, and I currently watched them hold their finger on the iPad and manipulate the song queue to prioritize other people to sing before people who paid a long time before them.
You won't believe the service I received after confronting them about being dishonest about the song queue. I recorded the bartenders harsh words on video. I watched them drag certain peoples songs in and out of priority. Also there were 40 plus songs being queued up at 2 dollars a piece with only 30 minutes left of the business being open for operation, which means they were farming several songs people wouldn't sing just for the money!! Disappointing and awful!
