Banana Republic Factory Store

I'm a sucker for Banana Republic, and this Factory Store has got the goods.

It's pretty small - much smaller than the one in Petaluma - but they do have some great products. I was able to get a three pack of face masks for $4, which is unheard of in this day and age.

Service is plenty friendly too, but they don't have too many registers at the front. Come with some time on your hands and you're golden.

Can usually find a good deal here on some quality clothing. Return policy is good. Customer service is usually pretty good.

Had to get a shirt last minute for a work event today. Two amazing women helped me. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I asked if they could steam the shirt, which they did. I was able to come back and pick it up the shirt that day. The other stores in the area wouldn't do that. Amazing customer service. Thank you

Banana Rep is definitely my type of store based on my outfit preference and sizes. This outlet is one of my favs because of its location.
I've never had problems with customer service.
The place is clean and neat.
Parking can be hard on the weekend because of other stores but the lot is huge.

I received what I consider outstanding service today at Banana Republic Factory Store in San Leandro. Only my second time to shop at any Banana Republic store but I am really happy to see such good customer service. Thank you to the staff for making my experience so pleasant.

I have been shopping here for quite some time and every time there is always new people. Unfortunately non are customer service driven, they are very stoic and do not even acknowledge customers coming in. Sadly the one person who does is the security guard which is probably not even on their payroll. After this last shopping round I was treated very poorly by the Supervisor in charge and have decided to take my business else where.

I'd give one star if I could...

I will keep this short. I was in this store for about 30 minutes and not one time did any of the workers greet me or even acknowledge my presence in the store. In fact, I observed several, including the lady at the checkout counter, seemingly AVOID eye contact with me. Even when I was obviously in need of assistance, still nothing.

It's always amazes me when people with the personality of wood choose to work with the general public. Poor customer service seems to be the new normal. This, along with many other reasons, is why I will continue to shop online.

Great service on the floor, dressing room and cash wrap areas. The store opened Thursday 5/23/13, with 50% off the entire store during the Memorial Day holiday shopping weekend. Good Petites section too! Yay!

I drove over to Marina Square with Ann Taylor Factory Store and Nordstrom Rack in mind, but lo and behold a shiny new Banana Republic Factory Store! Hello new work wardrobe (that won't break the bank). BR is comparable to the Individualist and Point of View departments at Nordies, but at a fraction of the price.

I really liked a lot of the printed tops with the cinched waist (flattering for those with less than perfect bodies) but my favorite was the size small one of the mannequins was wearing. Unfortunately, that was the last size small in that color/print/cut in stock and the rep on the floor didn't know how to take her top off as it was the kind you would pull over your head. (I think he needed to remove her arms!!) They had lots of really nice summer-weight cardigans in long and short sleeve options, some with enamel-look buttons, some were the open style. There were some really nice coordinating blazers and pants in the petite section. Some even had the 3/4 sleeve / bracelet sleeve blazers I thought were really cute.

Unfortunately, the men's selection is not as wide. The tops seem to be limited to classic-fit and slim-fit dress shirts, pullover sweaters, full-zip sweaters, polo shirts and t-shirts all in classic fit. I was really hoping to find slim-fit polos and tees.

The co-ed fitting room was packed but the girls in charge kept their cool (and their smiles) and didn't ignore those waiting in line. Kudos for the wonderful service.

I left the store with some major damage to my plastic, but the damage would have been worse (by 2.5x) had I been next door at Nordies Rack.

I have a policy of only going into the dressing room once ... so I like to pile up on things to try before I head in. Usually at BR, they will start a dressing room for me.

I was delighted to see a factory store in this little mini outlet complex ... but when I asked if I could leave a pile of stuff I intended to buy on the counter while I continued to browse, the associate looked at me with confusion and said - well there's a bag you can use - pointed at some shopping bags and walked away. Classy.

As for everything else, the store for the most part was clean and pretty well stocked. I don't mind stopping by again if I happen to be in the area.

Easy parking, great sales, nice customer service, the store is always clean and organized. Makes shopping pleasant again!
