Horrible customer service! Will never use them again can't even do basic money exchange that airports can do! Pathetic

My assessment of the Branch Manager Thomas is that he is very personable and interactive with all the Bank of America customers---very attentive to senior citizens of which I was very impressed.

I didn't think anything of my first interaction but when I saw that his greetings were genuine I looked the Bank of America differently. I am certain of Managers could learn something about customer service from this guy. He is the right person for this Branch. Management sets the tone and Thomas is on the ball insofar as customer service. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One particular banker and the manager here appeared to be friendly but that's all. Not experienced nor knowledgeable. I went in to open a trust account and they told me that my trust was no good. My trust was prepared by an estate attorney with over 30 years of experience and is the same trust I used to open another BofA account (at another branch). Worst of all, they suggested that I find another attorney in west portal to redo the trust. What?!

Went to the BofA at Stonestown and was assisted by a young Asian banker and was able to accomplish what I wanted in under 20 minutes.

I needed to open a couple accounts and interacted with Spencer, Fidan and the branch manager.

All were friendly and professional, I love that they give out their work #s with the text feature, what a convenient way to get answers you need efficiently.

Just know it's a small branch with 1 teller, but it's full service.

Its very stupid and retarded a financial center like BofA to not change foreign currency. Why the hell won't you take them? Wells Fargo down the street was no issue. Management and the tellers suck ass.

Temporarily closed as of February 2022 presumably due to staffing shortages. It's been like that for months without any notice on when it'll reopen. As a result, homeless people are camping out in front. Go to the Parkside location on Taraval and 20th Ave instead.

Note that B of A customers have been scammed by Zelle a payment app associated and approved by the bank. B Of A has refused to refund patrons scammed money ....how far this bank has fallen...

I never write reviews for banks, but this branch has the honor of receiving one from me. When you first walk in from West Portal, there seems to be a few cubicles and a lobby area. I've never been to this branch,so we didn't know where the tellers were. We asked someone who worked there and he said "we don't have tellers here" What kind of bank doesn't have a teller! Not wanting to believe him, we continued down this quiet path and behold, TELLERS! I didn't get the name of that employee, and that's his luck. Never coming back again!

Was closed and for older people like my parents it's a bad sign. They now plan to change banks.
They told all their friends too and now all are doing the same.
Guess they lost all their saving in China so they don't want to take a chance.
Didn't help the other branches were close too

Everyone I come to this branch it's always pretty empty and they also have a free parking lot underground. Well as I was walking toward the stairs to go up I seen a bunch of used needles on the ground near a parked car. I told the teller the garage was dirty and that there were needles on the floor. He said "needles... oh I don't know about that". I'm like it's not sanitary to have dirty needles down there and you should probably have some type of security to prevent this from happening. I know it's not their fault but this could be prevented with the right measures.

Worst, rudest tellers. B of A sucks beyond belief in any location, but the West Portal branch go above and beyond with long lines, and general indifference. I closed my account.
