Kurt at Bay Area Crane is a true professional. Knows his business, communicates, and cares that things be done right. A rarity these days.
He went above and beyond when my 1,800lb crated spa arrived on a trailer too big to navigate my street. He arranged for a smaller truck, forklifted it off, and then craned the crate off the truck into place. He even added extra 2" x 4" blocks to the crate, on the fly, just to ensure the hoisting wouldn't buckle the crate. Something the shipper should have done. Made a stressful situation seamless. Price reasonable.

We attempted to use this company on 3 separate project. 1 went smoothly. 1 they forgot about but were able to accommodate and 1 was a complete no call no show. Our crews were standing around with equipment staged for an hour before they called us back. Kurt told us to call someone else dispite the two emails, text messages and numerous phone calls to Harrison prior to the day. They use an answering service that is very difficult to work with. They don't respond to calls, text or emails. I would not recommend them. Very poor customer service, very poor organization and extremely poor scheduling.

These are your guys if you want to loose money, waste labor hours and look like a clown is front of your client.

Had no idea what to expect. First thing I noticed was a nice clean truck. It had the looks of a professional company, right off the bat. Then Harrison ( the operator ) got to work, and this guy was thorough. Set out the cones , the pads for the outriggers, etc.
Once he lifted the motor and was positioning it , I knew he was a pro at his job.
This was a tight fit , and sketchy job. I was amazed we never had 1 oh S-:t moment!!
Calm cool and relaxed , the hand signals were working and things went great !!
If your wondering if this company could handle your job, I have to say hell yes!!
