We moved twice with these guys in the last two years, both with and without packing services. Whether it's furniture or smaller items, they wrap/pack everything up well. They are VERY efficient in addition to being reasonably priced. We didn't have any damage either time. I'd definitely use them again.

Great service by Alfredo and Carlo! They placed my things in boxes and wrapped them to make sure they were unscathed from the move, including my bed and furniture. They asked me questions about where I would like certain things to be. They were fast and efficient. Nice guys too! I highly recommend this company and would work with them again.

Armando and his team are the best. They did a great job moving from a 1 bedroom 2nd floor apartment to 2 rooms in a house. They are efficient, fast and very careful. I had a lot of bins that were being stored- not unpacked- and he asked how I wanted them set in the room. They were neatly stacked in aisles so I could get to any box I need.
It was my first time hiring movers so I didn't know what to expect. I was really impressed by the amazing job they did. Armando was very patient, knowledgeable and responsive.

We recently hired Bay Area Movers for a move of a one-bedroom apartment in Oakland with a sizable clearout of a large and small storage unit in Walnut Creek to a house in Concord. I spoke to Armando twice before the scheduled move and he was patient to answer all of my questions. Due to the amount of items we had in storage, we agreed that four movers and a 26ft truck would be best to ensure a timely move, in what was already going to be an exhausting day.

Arrival time on the day of the move was 8am and by 7:40am, the truck was outside waiting, but not coming to our door too early - which we appreciated. We had packed all of our items ourselves, so the movers were moving furniture and packed totes/boxes. The crew was very careful to wrap furniture in a blanket and then in plastic wrap to protect them. They disassembled our frame and headboard and bagged our mattress and box spring (using the bags we provided, though they also have them available). They put down a blanket at the entry way as well to protect the hardwood floors in our apartment. Within 90 minutes, our apartment had been completely cleared out and they were securing everything in the truck for the next pick up destination, where they unloaded a large and small storage unit into the truck. Upon arrival at the house, we all took a short lunch break to refuel with deli sandwiches, chips and drinks before the crew began unloading the truck.
After lunch, the crew placed protective plastic throughout the common walkways and our hallway into each room to protect the carpets that had just been cleaned.
The crew began filling our garage and home with our furniture and belongings, asking us for guidance about where things needed to go. They unwrapped and placed all of our furniture with no damages. They even put together our bedframe and headboard and helped to wipe the dust off of it, before the box spring and mattress were placed.
Having a crew of four really made the move go quickly and was completely worth the price - it would have cost the same but taken twice as long with a crew of two. Speaking of the crew, they were great to work with - working smartly, safely and carefully with our belongings. Concerning Covid, the entire crew was vaccinated and also wore masks.
When the truck was empty and everything had been moved in it was 1:15pm - which was fantastic, as we still had half a day to take care of the basics on setting up for the first night in our new home. The price we paid was also very reasonable and worth every penny! We would highly recommend using Bay Area Moving for your future moving needs.

Armando and his team arrived on time , very honest , professional and communicative . If you need honest and reliable movers definitely call Armando. All my stuff arrived safe and on time . I was recommended by my friend and I definitely recommend them to everyone who needs a great company to move your stuff and keep it safe . Far , close by or out of state nothing is impossible for them.

Arturo and Alex did an amazing job helping me move from SJ to SF. They were super quick from the get-go and disassembled furniture when needed. They handled all items with care and hand no problems with my 3rd floor apartment. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Bay Area Moving if you're in the market for movers. I was in communication with Armando, who was both professional and an excellent communicator.
Once I inquired on Yelp! He contacted me within half an hour of me sending him a message. He was very nice and clear. The night before the move he called to confirm the date, time and address I was moving from and where I was moving to.
The workers arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled move time, which was perfect. When I stated we would be running a bit late, he was very understanding.
Moving my furniture was handled with the utmost care. The movers were professional in moving the bedroom set to a second floor apartment.
If I ever move again I will reach out to them. One of the best.

We hired Armando and his crew to move us from San Bruno to Vacaville. They were great. Came a bit early to our home, which was perfect. 4 guys moved everything with no problems at all. They were all very nice and courteous.
Would recommend them for anyone doing a move.
