I called about a circuit that was out in my house- which I'd tried to reset several times. Kevin told me not to waste my money on something I could fix myself. Over the phone, he walked me through how to properly reset the switch (push it to off HARD till you hear it click!) and then reset the GFCI outlets. Kevin could have made some quick and easy money off of me. But he chose not to, and saved me several hundred dollars and a good deal of headache in the process.

Would you believe he called me an hour later to see if it had worked? Happily, yes, the lights were on and the fans were fanning!

It may seem strange to review somebody who did not actually perform a service, but I would disagree. Bay Electric taught me something useful, which was a service in itself. Pay it forward and reward honest people like this with your business.

"Wow!" is not enough to say how ETHICAL Kevin the electrician is. I mistakenly left a portable heater on then used a blow dryer at the same time...you guessed it....tripped the circuit breaker. Power out instantly. I then tried to reset the breaker but it didn't work. I called Kevin because of the great reviews on here. Told him the problem. He then asked me to text him a picture of the circuit breaker panel. After looking at the picture, he told me exactly what to do over the phone. Then Voila! Power came back on. He told me he is not someone that will come out for a job knowing it's something the homeowner can do safely. He refused to take my money when I offered to pay him something because he spent his valuable time on the phone with me. Kevin saved me a few hundred dollars, and most importantly, he has gained a new grateful loyal customer.

I reach out to Bay Electric about possibly changing a fuse panel. Kevin did a great job installing a Tesla Universal Wall Connector (provided by us) in our garage. He arrived on time and answered every question I had with patience and knowledge. He also explained to me the safety considerations behind choosing to go with a 50A circuit for the EVSE since our house is quite old with 100A service.
