Bay Farm Happy Bees Childcare

We LOVE Rebecca. My 2.5 year old has been with her since she was about 7 months old. As a first time mom nervous about anyone watching my baby, I have nothing but praise to say about Rebecca, her parents and her assistants.
-She is very sweet and caring and she is such a great educator and child developer. She was so good at moving our daughter through every milestone from tummy time, to crawling, to walking, to talking, to potty training, to learning chinese! It's really more than just a daycare.
-She does so much with the kids from different arts and crafts, to playtime outside, to playing with her millions of toys and books, to reading time, to activities, going on walks, going to the library, going to the playground. There is tons of stimulation and our daughter has grown and developed so much under Rebecca.
-She is so intuitive and she understands each individual child and what they need from being held or making sure they have their favorite toy or if they need an extra snack.
-She is honest and extremely reliable and responsible.
-She is so generous with food and toys and her time and attention for each and every child.
Every time we drop off our daughter, she runs inside to Rebecca and every day we pick her up, she cries because she doesn't want to leave. ALL the kids love it there and it's because Rebecca is truly an amazing care taker. We feel so lucky to have found Rebecca and her daycare. She has built a safe, fun, happy place for children and I highly highly recommend her.

Rebecca is amazing with young children. My 2 year old has been with Rebecca ever since she was 9 months old and I have only good things to say and write about her.
- She is incredibly sensitive and aware of the children's needs. Always hugging and makes them (and us) feel welcome
- She is very smart and well educated and I always feel that she is the kind of person I want around my kids
- Her house is full with beautiful toys, always clean and tidy.
- She is very creative and doing a lot of art activities with the kids
- She is very generous and always go the extra mile for the kids - with food, toys and activities.

My 2+ year-old toddler has been with Rebecca for more than a year now. He really started to thrive and progress when we placed him here. He has really developed a strong bond not only with the daycare staff and family, but also with the other children there. He is very secure and happy going there, and when we pick him up.

Moreover, Rebecca is very communicative about his progress and whatever needs come up, so we feel really good about a solid caregiving partnership with her.

We feel so fortunate to have found Happy Bees and cannot express enough what a wonderful, safe, and happy environment Rebecca has created for the children.

Our family is so happy with Rebecca and her assistants. Our older child went there for over a year and our younger child has been there for three months. The other families and their children are wonderful as well. The environment is happy, loving and clean. The children are aways learning something new and making crafts, and they get plenty of fresh air when the weather is good. She is very proactive about sending us photos and videos of our children to keep us informed, and we get a detailed report on their meals, sleep and activities when we pick our child up each day. We highly recommend Happy Bees!!

We absolutely love Rebecca. We've been going to Happy Bees since my daughter was 9.5 months and now are incredibly sad to leave her 2.5 years later. Rebecca has become one of the family and we are really grateful to have her be a part of my daughter's life for the first few years of her life. When I was looking for a daycare, the only criteria I had was that the provider must speak and teach Mandarin. We ended up getting way more than we bargained for. Rebecca started as a teacher and is naturally great with babies and toddlers. She's incredibly patient and really takes the time to get to know every kid's needs and skills. I have no doubt that if we have more kids, we'll be sending them to Happy Bees. Thanks Rebecca!!

We love Rebecca and Happybees. Our son have been there since he was 11 months and loves it! You can tell that all the kids are happy being there. We are amazed at how much our son have developed and is learning so much everyday. He can even say a few words and sing in mandarin. She was very helpful at the beginning as we transitioned from our nanny. She sends pictures and videos too! She and another caregiver genuinely cares for all the kids and the place is always clean and organized. She doesn't sugar coat things and is direct, and we like that about her. They go on walks and visits a few neighborhood park frequently. They also have lots of activities throughout the day to keep the kids busy and have an amazing outdoor play area for the kids. On top of it all, they also home cook most of the meals. Thanks Rebecca for caring for Landon! We are so happy we found this place in our neighborhood.

We lived around the corner from Happy Bees and contacted Rebecca in a pinch when our current sitter called in sick for 2 days. Immediately our daughter was so happy there that we knew we wanted to make the switch to Happy Bees for her as soon as we could. It was very serendipitous! So we signed her up on the waiting list and she attended from June to October of this year.

In just those 5 months we saw our daughter (who turned 2 in July) singing her ABCs and lots of other songs, recognizing numbers from letters, her language development growing like crazy, and talking nonstop about the friends she had at Happy Bees and Rebecca's family. She truly loved being there and looked forward to going to Rebecca's every day and felt happy, secure, and loved at Happy Bees!

The classroom setup in the back room is great and has everything that would foster a child's academic and social development. The backyard is well equipped with lots of fun, age-appropriate toys and her home is clean and tidy - a very important factor for me when deciding on a place to send my daughter!

Last week we moved from Alameda to Southern CA and I can say that leaving Happy Bees and Rebecca was one of the hardest parts of our move. We absolutely would not have left Happy Bees except for this reason. I can't recommend Rebecca and Happy Bees enough to anyone who is interested!!
