Be Love

What a special find. Searched for a vegan restaurant and found Be Love. Visit this place for lunch or dinner - you will not be disappointed. This is a great place for vegetarians and for those who are strictly plant based, but there is plenty to chose from, and I know that those who eat meat, fish and dairy will come away satisfied as well. The service was simple, as is the ambiance, and it was exactly what we were looking for. I give this the highest of recommendations, and wish that this place was in our town! Look forward to eating there again sometime in the future.

After a long day of walking, I was thrilled to discover this vegan spot. While I appreciate the vegan options, I've find it challenging to stick to the diet while traveling so after feeling like I had been eating nothing but junk food during my trip, and was extra excited to stumble upon this place.
We were surprised to find that this casual place required reservations, especially considering the relatively simple menu of sandwiches and bowls. We were lucky to snag a table, but many others were turned away.
The service was efficient, but the food fell short of my expectations. The soy curl bowl lacked flavor compared to the homemade version that I make, though the dressing was tasty. My tempeh BBQ burger was decent but also rather bland

Delicious light supper at this all vegan restaurant, cup of fresh Morel mushroom soup with large chunks of mushroom, followed by tempeh tacos.
Wonderful combination of flavours in the tacos, smoked tempeh with pickled onion, crunchy cabbage and grated carrots, spicy jalapeños and a cashew crème drizzle topped off with a spoonful of fresh tomato salsa and a squeeze of lime.
Quick friendly service and tasty beverages. Definitely recommend the kombucha based sparkling 'Bon Bucha' lemon, ginger, blackberry, touch of maple syrup.

We parked our Tundra/Airstream rig at the Black Ball Ferry Line in line to Port Angeles later. Then, we strolled over to Bar Love. Recommended by a Whole Foods clerk, she said this restaurant was incredible and organic. Don't panic, it is Organic! And here we are primed to eat lunch.

What a delicious and scrumptious lunch. Tempeh tacos, spicy mayonnaises slaw, cilantro yogurt, pickled red onions, candied jalapeños and pico de gallo. That's all? That's incredible!

With a yum yum Kati roll include spinach roti, curry potatoes, radish cilantro & mint yogurt, roasted cauliflower, rhubarb chutney, pickled onions and arugula.

Add a cup of coconut lentil soup of the day. Great to share for us two.

Bright and high ceilings, nice decor, great food and friendly service.
They make everything from scratch and it's all vegan and gluten free, including the spinach roti for the Kati roll. The roti had a nice texture and did not break or crack apart. The potato/cauliflower filling with pickled onions was nice but I was expecting a different flavour based on my Kati roll experience. It was tasty though and very filling. The side mushroom soup was ahhhhmazing! So tasty and comforting on a rainy day.
The cacao smoothie was good but way too big to have with the meal so I put it in a take away cup. I ordered a piece of berry cake to go to enjoy later and it was nice....not too sweet.
The servers were friendly and helpful. The items were pricey but the quality was excellent. I'm so happy I found this place

We had a great time eating Be Love, a plant-based restaurant! The extensive menu filled with delicious plant-based options. The food was good. We had the tempeh sandwich and Spinach Kati roll. The mezze platter was my personal favorite dish. The The ambiance was lovely. The service was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone

My daughter is vegetarian and l am gluten free. This was the perfect spot for us. Our meal was fantastic. Great flavor combinations. Highly recommend!

Wandering around downtown Victoria BC, I stumbled upon this great little vegan place and took a chance. I wasn't disappointed! Lovely spacious ambience and wonderful service by friendly enthusiastic servers. My food was very delicious (and they had wine & exotic alcohol cocktails) and clever flavorful healthy dishes, plant based & dairy free. Enjoyed my lunch so much that I ordered another selection to take back to my hotel for later! Gluten free options and everything was fresh and high quality. Great portions and very fair prices too. Will go back.

So happy to see vegetarian/vegan restaurants still alive and thriving! The vegan macaroni and cheese was pretty good considering it had no dairy at all in it. Definitely will order again the next time I am in town.

Service was good but food was pretty bad. Only come here for drinks I think. And bring your own hot sauce omg the hot sauce was wack
