Have 3 cats & one dog--so plenty of fur to go around. When our bagless vacuum finally died did not want another "bagless" vacuum as it is just nasty emptying them and cleaning out the dust residue. We also have no rugs accept small area rug in the bedrooms by the bed so wanted a canister which were advised would be the best option.
Bought a Mighty Mite at recommendation of owner & have used it the last two weekends and really picks the fur & litter up just great. Also love that only need to replace bag when it will fills up--which is more sanitary than the bagless vacuums.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I walked in hoping the broken clip on my Hoover discontinued vacuum could be replaced/fixed. It couldn't because that's the way life goes, but the gentleman came up with a brilliant solution and switched around two clips on my vacuum to fix my problem. It took less than 10 minutes (free of charge) and I was out the door! Thank you so much kind sir!! I will definitely go back again!

So grateful for the Quality of Service and Value of this essential small business! I went to THREE other vacuum cleaner repair shops closer to my house before discovering Beal's Vacuum Cleaner Sales & Service. Thank goodness I found them!
The first shop I took my vacuum to in Roseville, quoted me a minimum of $120 - only AFTER I turned my vacuum for them to check out. Several days later I received the Final estimate = $240!! The second shop was just as expensive. The third shop didn't fix personal vacuums anymore, but they DID refer me to Beal's.
You need the back-story to appreciate how fantastic Beal's vacuum is. After talking to Beal's repairman, Jody, on the phone, I headed down. I hoped to save my vacuum (which I really like) and avoid buying a new, poorly made model.
Within a few minutes of arriving at Beal's Jody had already plugged in, listened and observed what was happening with my vacuum. In less than 5 minutes, my vacuum was fixed and fully operational. It was only a Broken belt, repair cost: $10. Incredible! The other stores never bothered to look at it or even plug it in.
We need small shops like Beal's, and people who have amazing skills and craftsmanship. If you want a truthful estimate, and an affordable repair for your vacuum, this is the place to go. I am now a devoted Beal's customer. :)Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I have a Dyson stick vacuum and it went on the fritz. It lost most of its suction. Dyson has HORRIBLE customer service. I spent hours on the phone trying to get them to diagnose my problem using a video chat, and they sold me the wrong part twice!!
Finally, in desperation, I took it to Beals. Dyson doesn't play nice in the sandbox with any vacuum repair companies; so they can't get parts. However, the owner took one look at my vacuum and diagnosed it in 2 minutes. He told me to just buy the part I needed online. And he didn't charge me anything. Plus he gave me excellent advice. He's not a fan of stick vacuums in general, and said canister vacs are much better. But I love the convenience of a stick vacuum and as long as there are pros like this gentleman; I won't have to toss all my time and money at Dyson.
People like this will NEVER be replaced by automated customer service and remote video consultation such as Dyson uses.
Go to Beals! Buy your next vacuum there! Or fix your old one. They also had some cool older vacuums on display. And I'll bet those old ones work better and last longer than a Dyson.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 0 - Rebekah P.Fallbrook, CA1805235Oct 28, 2023
I recently went to Beal's to have my vacuum cleaner serviced because it had dramaticly lost suction and was no longer working properly.
I am beyond disappointed!
I paid $45 cash upfront and was told, "I'll have this back to you shortly." When I asked how soon the gentleman was apparently offended and waved his hand around the shop and told me it would be about a week.
One week later I called to follow-up, and was told he hadn't gotten to it yet but would have it done by 2:30 that day, I was called about 30 minutes later and told it was ready to be picked up.
When I arrived to pick up my vacuum I opened the outer filter to find a hand cut, ill-fitting filter but decided to take my vacuum home because I wanted to clean my house. After I was home I plugged it in and found that it still had the same issue (low suction).
I then proceeded to take apart the vacuum and found that it was still filthy AND the pre motor filters had not been replaced or cleaned. IT LITERALLY SAYS LOSS OF SUCTION MAY OCCUR IF FILTERS ARE NOT CLEANED!
I literally paid $45 to have a hand cut piece of non-hepa filter put into my vacuum. No cleaning, no filter replacement, nothing. I hate writing poor reviews and try to keep it positive but I am astounded that this business has the rating it does with the level of service I experienced.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner repair shop! I was looking for an authorized Dyson repair shop after learning that the business in Citrus Heights I had been patronizing for years was closed. My Dyson vacuum cleaner would not turn on, so I found Beal's Vacuum Cleaner Sales and Service on Fulton Avenue in Sacramento on Yelp, and I could not be happier that I tried it.
As I entered the shop, the door triggered a bell to alert the owner who was working in the back. My first impression was what I thought could be the faint smell of cigarette smoke, though it might have been smoke from the motor of the vacuum. There are new and used vacuum cleaners for sale on display, and there was a group of repaired vacuum cleaners grouped in an area, with tags, apparently ready to be picked up.
Within 15 seconds, the owner, Jody, appeared from the back with a pleasant, helpful demeanor. Immediately, he had a few ideas of what might be causing the problem and asked if he could take it in the back to confirm. Within a minute, he diagnosed that it needed a new cord installed and offered to fix it while I waited. I opted to return after running an errand, and it was ready to go as promised. He replaced the 30 ft. cord with a 40 ft. cord, and all together it cost $65 which I thought was very reasonable. Overall, I was pleased with Jody's efficient help. He is quite knowledgeable and experienced, and I would definitely trust him again for any future repairs!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Borg F.Sacramento, CA049Mar 12, 2024Updated review

My friend's vacuum suction function wasn't performing properly, so I took it in for her. It was super fast and easy fix. He also showed me how to keep it from getting clogged again. I just had to clean out the dust cup and the filter. $15 for this fix and we didn't have to buy another vacuum. Yay.

So grateful for these small, yet essential business and the owners like Jody, who dedicate their life to running a service repair shop. I know rents must be high and for a $30 while you wait belt repair and unclogging of my wand on my dyson animal, i am most appreciative. The other small vacuum repair i went to previoysly has since closed, so grayeful i didnr have to deal with shipping vacuum back to dyson or driving to sf to find a repair. Thanks jody!
